Tori

All I know is I'm flat on cold aluminum and my head is killing me. I'm almost positive that I'm in the back of a van.
"You think she's dead?" A man asked before poking my cheek.
"If she's dead, I'm blaming you. You were the one that had to break down the door." A different man said as he violently shook me and I flailed around trying to get away.
"A feisty one, Kenner is going to love this one." A the first man said. All I could really make out were his blazing grass green eyes behind his mask, he was extremely muscular, wearing a bulletproof vest over his dark brown T shirt, and some worn out jeans dangled around his steel toe boots.
"Yes, but remember, he doesn't want damaged goods, especially this princess. She could easily rank us higher then dark brown. Just touching her can rank us in dark blue. Bringing her to Kenner, will rank us at least in dark red." The other man, in the same outfit, said.
"What's with the colors?" I asked.
"It shows our ranks. Why do you want to know?" The first man glared at me.
"Just curious is all. If I'm going to die after all this, can't I at get some answers?" I asked.
"All the bright colors signify that you are at the bottom of the ranks, whether you're new, under watch, or something else." The first man started.
Once he was finished telling me about this I learned a lot about these people and what they do. Like black is the highest rank and only one person wears it. Dark red is the second highest, then there's dark blue, dark green, dark purple, and so on and so forth.
"So why does this Kenner want me?" I asked.
"Darling, the reason we wear dark brown is to take orders and not question them. He wanted you, and we have to deliver unless we want our heads cut off." The second man said.
"Oh... I guess that makes sense. What are your names?" I questioned.
"I'm Anthony." The first man said.
"And I'm Trevor." The second man with amber eyes said.
"Let me guess, you can only have names starting with K, A, and T?" I laughed dryly as they nodded. "Do you like living this way?" I asked.
"It's not the easiest, but we were born into this life. Our parents joined and we were dragged in. Sorry to disappoint you, princess." Anthony shrugged.
"Do you ever want to leave?" I asked.
"Sometimes, but, they'd find and kill you if you abandoned the troops. Were supposed to be a big family that one half hates the other for no reason and the other hates them for some reason no one will say." Trevor said.
"My father is the Mayor, if I asked him to keep you safe, he would without a second question." I started.
"Whatcha getting at, Princess?" Trevor nudged.
"You don't have to take me. We could run back and be free. My dad would protect you for bringing his little girl back safe." I tried as both Trevor and Anthony looked at each other.
"Deal." They shook my hand as the van came to a stop.
"This is where we're stopping for the night. If you try to escape, I won't hesitate, bitch." A big burly man in Dark purple growled at me as I nodded quickly.

"Are you ready, Princess?" Trevor asked me as I nodded and we slowly opened the back doors and ran for it.
