"Remind me again why you lied to me, told me there was something super important that I had to help you with, locked me into your living room, and turned on kids movies?"

"Well when you say it like it's torture it doesn't sound as sentimental,"

"Ohh, sorry to ruin that for you,"

"Do you really despise fun that much?"

"I despise liars,"

"You didn't answer my question," he laughed, "Just get on the couch. We're watching Nemo, I'm making popcorn, you will do no work, and you are gonna enjoy it."

I sighed, "Such a Charmer you are Keefe,"

"I do try," he threw a blanket at me across the family room.

Keefe made a huge bowl of popcorn and sat down on the couch, placing it in between us. I made a big show of refusing to sit back on the couch but it was too cold in the room and too comfy under the blanket for my stubbornness. True to his word, Keefe turned on Nemo and refused to hear a word from me about anything else. The house grew colder and colder as the movie went on and Keefe dug more and more blankets out and piled them on top of the couch.

The movie ended at 10:30 and I was tired and ready to go home and fall asleep in my bed. Keefe sleepily thanked me for coming and letting him manipulate me and I pulled on my coat and shoes and headed for the door.

"This was actually, really enjoyable," I thanked him.

"See! I told you! You overwork yourself so much, sometimes it's good to just do something childish and relax for once,"

"You're right, but you still manipulated me to get me here,"

"Sophie!"

"What?? I'm just kidding.."

"Drive safe, it's probably icy out there,"

"I will, thank you,"

My hand was on the doorknob when the hallway went dark.

"What happened?" Keefe asked. I pulled out my phone and turned on the camera,

"Looks like your power went out," I said. Keefe pulled out his phone and tapped the weather app. An announcement popped up, covering his screen.

"SEVERE WEATHER WARNING! STAY INSIDE AND OFF THE ROADS! BUNDLE UP AND LIGHT SOME CANDLES"

"Well, looks like you're spending the night, and looks like the roommates won't be coming home till tomorrow if they know what's good for them," Keefe said, "Lets drag all these blankets up to the guest room for you,"

We scooped up armfuls of blankets and awkwardly held out our phone cameras so we could see to make our way up the stairs. I followed Keefe to the guest room and he helped me find a toothbrush and get ready for bed.

"Sorry Sophie, I don't think any pajamas I could offer you would fit,"

"luckily I didn't put on jeans or anything when I came over, sweats aren't too uncomfortable to sleep in,"

"I think you meant, 'thank god we weren't working because I would have dressed less comfortably,'"

"You keep telling yourself that,"
