The time went by rather quickly. Biðja gave her father a final hug before boarding the frigate to Labyrinth. She gathered her things and set off to sign into the crew log then headed for her bunk to unpack. To think; three hundred other people onboard, many from other clans, all fighting for freedom. The dark silver hull was rather alluring as she trekked to the crew deck, nearly bumped into another woman, one in uniform.
"Oh! Pardon, miss. Was a bit distracted."
"Hey, no problem. I had the same reaction my first time, too. Commander Torvi, you'll mainly be reporting to me."
"Biðja. Love to chat, but have to unpack before orientation."
"No worry, we'll have time en-route."
Biðja finds her bunk and unpacks her belongings into her assigned locker. She holds the Mjolnir she'd forged caressingly before the call for orientation was made. Making her way to the mess hall, she sees commander Torvi next to the presenter, a taller man with a stern posture and warm eyes.
"Welcome, recruits, to vessel 325-B: Nagalfar. I am Captain Ragnvald, the overseer of this vessel, and next to me is commander Torvi, who will be charge for you recruits specifically. Our goal is to investigate the Samurai presence in Labyrinth and, if possible, make an alliance against the knights. You will all be trained here, on the vessel, starting tomorrow. Rest well, recruits. The first step will be your longest stride. Dismissed."
With that, the recruits enjoy the rest of their day before training tomorrow. Biðja heads to the bunk and continues her prayer while the others drink and play their strategy Game. After her prayer, Biðja heads to mess along with some others. They share some stories and laughs. The PA for lights out goes off and they all go back to the crew deck to settle in. The first day of the rest of their lives starts tomorrow.
