Being a student is never easy, even more so when your maintenance loan is going towards helping pay for a parent's healthcare. (MC) was struggling to pay the bills and saw her grades start to slip when she picked up extra hours at the restaurant she worked at. She knew she wouldn't be able to afford the tuition fees if she would need to retake a year. All seemed lost until she was recommended a profession by a friend.

The negative connotations surrounding the career 'stripper' were almost enough to deter her, but (MC) was desperate. The pay at the bar was better than where she currently worked. Her friend had recommended it for their treatment of the strippers - she wouldn't get cheated by the manager. After some time, she genuinely started to enjoy what she was doing as it gave her the confidence she's always lacked.

One evening while she was dancing, a group of guys entered. It wasn't out of the ordinary to have a group enter for events such as birthdays, which this one happened to be. The birthday boy was familiar; he was a known name in formula one. He was obviously not the biggest fan of where his friends had dragged him, even more so when they payed for him to have a private session.

D: "you don't have to do the, uh, dance thing, you know?"

MC: "it's what i'm being payed to do"

D: "i'll still pay if- you really don't need to take that off"

MC: "am i making you nervous, (driver name)?"

D: "you know who i am?"

MC: "everyone does"

D: "well then, who are you?"

MC: "i'm payed to dance, not talk"

D: "well i'm paying you to talk. let's get to know each other."

MC and the driver continue to talk even after the session ended since he pays for more time. They exchange numbers despite it being against policy for the MC. For the first time since becoming a stripper, a guy has treated her like the person she is rather than an object.

After some time of dating, the MC reveals to the driver why she strips. Him thinking he was doing a generous act, pays for her parent's treatment and declares she can stop stripping. MC doesn't want to stop; she wants to make her own money and not be dependant on anyone else. His reasons to the MC seem selfish. Tensions rise, but can things be resolved?

old old idea. wanted to end some of the negative stigma surrounding stripping and people's prejudices.

the driver i had in mind when writing this was Charles lmao but obviously if you make this story your own, you can have anyone.
