Veronica Lodge decided to host another party at her speakeasy, La Bonne Nuit. Everyone was invited, including some of the parents.
Jughead and Betty were obviously going, along with Archie, Cheryl, Toni and Reggie. what they didn't expect to see there was Fp And Alice. yes, these two were together and all over each other, at home. but public? not so much. Could they keep their hands off of each other for a few hours? who knew.
The party had started about 30 minutes ago. the speakeasy wasn't full of people, but it wasn't that empty either. Jughead, Betty and Archie sat at a table, laughing and chatting, meanwhile Cheryl and Toni sat together, giggling and giving each other soft kisses every now and then.
Soon enough another pair of people walked down the stairs, they weren't teenagers and most certainly not something people would expect to see. it was Fp, with no other than Alice Smith. they weren't holding hands but they stood by each others side, literally.
"oh god, it's mom and Fp." Betty mumbled to Jughead with a frown. these two knew about their relationship, and also knew they couldn't keep their hands off of each other longer than five minutes.
the two lovebirds sat down at a table, next to each other. Alice slightly leaned in to whisper something to Fps ear, making a grin appear on the sheriff's face.
Archie who was looking at the two adults, narrowed his eyebrows and then turned to look at Jughead and Betty "are they...?"
he was cut off by Betty. "yes, just don't say it out loud please." she sighed, leaning against Jugheads shoulder. "i mean i'm happy for them...it's just a bit of a shock to– well everyone."
Soon enough, Hermione Lodge and her now rumored girlfriend, Mary Andrews came to the speakeasy. people began to whisper and look at the two, but they didn't give a fuck. instead of leaving, they made their way over to Fp and Alice.
"oh...hey you two." Alice stated, slightly moving away from Fps side, her arms crossed over her chest.
"hey. uh, is it okay if we join you two?" Mary questioned, making eye contact with the blonde.
before Alice could say anything, Fp nodded his head and responded. "yes, of course. have a seat." knowing Alice, she wouldn't let the two ladies join them.
"so...what are you two doing here, together?" Hermione asked curiously, a slight smirk escaping from her mouth as she looked at Alice, knowing exactly what was going on between the two.
Alice rolled her eyes. "well, what do you think?" she responded, moving closer to Fp again. this made him smile. she wasn't afraid to let people know.
The bearded man placed a hand on Alices thigh with a grin on his face. "she's my girl...again." he added, flashing a soft smile at the blonde.
everything what Fp just did, made the blonde blush like crazy, and she couldn't help but smile.
"yeah. that's right..." she whispered as the two made eye contact, alice leaned in with a smirk before these two kissed, her giggling into the kiss.
Hermione and Mary looked at each other, smiling and eventually letting out a laugh.
"we aren't surprised for sure. you two are meant to be." Mary stated, flashing a smile at Fp and Alice.
the blonde nodded her head proudly, Mary was so right about that. she then got an idea.
"wait here." Alice stated as she stood up from her seat, making her way to the stage.
"hey, excuse me can i get your attention?" the blonde spoke to the microphone, everyone turning to look at her.
"i'm Alice Smith, as everybody knows....and i have a little announcement to make." she said, then making eye contact with Fp.
"Fp Jones...he is sitting right there. you see that handsome man?" Alice questioned, pointing at Fps direction with a loving smile.
"...Fp come here, please."
Fp hesitated, but then stood up from his seat, walking to the stage, standing next to Alice.
the blonde flashed a soft smile at him, grabbing a hold of his hand. "we are together, now officially. i wanted to let you all know that...so we don't have to hide it no longer."
Betty and Jughead turned to look at each other, soon enough a soft smile appearing on both of their faces. these two stood up and began to clap their hands. "that's our parents!" betty yelled with a smile, jughead letting out a chuckle.
"oh my god...Fp and Alice, that's so hot." Toni stated to Cheryl with a smirk. "i always knew they'd be a thing, TT." Cheryl added.
Alice then placed her hands on Fps cheeks, attaching her lips to his. these two shared a gentle kiss, before exiting the stage.
This was a start of something good. they both knew it.
