The TRUTH.

It isn't over.

Wally West ran around the chrysalis consistently getting ZAPPED with the rays. He could feel the rays effect on him, he could feel the pain in his heart. It was moving his body, slowly, somewhere else. Somewhere he had never been, somewhere new, and dangerous. "It won't work Barry, Oh Artemis is SO gonna kill me for this! Don't even get me started on my parents." he snickered, he didn't feel really feel happy, he could see all the wonderful memories of his life pass by, moment after moment. "Wally-" Barry said, quite concerned, putting his hand out toward Wally, after slowing to Wally's speed. "Just tell them, okay?" Wally looked forward, he couldn't bare looking into Barry's eyes, Barry was so... devastated. Wally felt himself slowly fade away, it all went black.

Wally gasped awake, he was in a small room, tied with lutainium chains, he couldn't go through lutainium. He blinked multiple times, inspecting the small room with its one large metal door, and the chains he was trapped with. He grunted, his throat felt like sandpaper, so his grunt was a cracked one. He had to lean on his knees or his arms, unless he tried to stand, and that's what he did. Wally tried standing up and used the chains to his advantage. He stood, but his arms were weirdly place anyway he moved. Wally grunted again, while he sat himself down, it was the most comfortable way, and he wanted to brainstorm.

Hours later, Wally was busy trying to speed through the chains. "Okay wall-man this is it, you have to do this!" He squinted out of concentration. The billions of atoms he possessed began to shake the speed of sound. He stared at his wrists ,held down by chains, rapidly moving back and forth. His wrists were making their way through the lutanium when the large metal door slammed shut, breaking his concentration while the lutainium chain bracelets were halfway through his wrists. Wally screeched in pain when the lutainium crushed his flesh and bone. Blood was pouring down his arms and tears were sliding down his face, while he was trying to catch his breath from the sudden pain. Vandal Savage had come into the room and was laughing at Wally, "That's what happens when you mess around boy.". Silent tears rode down Wally's face and his teeth grit while barking out, "Vandal.". Vandal Savage grinned, "So kind of you to remember my name." Wally frowned, then grinned at the response he thought of, "I also remember the time I kicked your butt and you ran away!" Vandal sneered, "You must've failed to notice my chains crushing your flesh and bone.". Right now the only thing Wally wanted to do was; speed out of the chains, and land a solid punch right to Vandals face. Wally said, "I don't understand why you didn't just send one of your goons in here." Vandal grinned, "I thought it'd be better if I personally show you-" Vandal took out a remote and pressed a button making a screen show. "- This." Vandal pressed a button, playing the recording. It was from the chrysalis tornado, it showed Wally, The Flash, and Impulse, running. Wally kept his gaze toward the TV, he wanted to see what happened after he teleported. He saw himself get zapped from time to time, he saw the moment play out again, it twisted his stomach inside out just as he faded away. It had come to the moment where Wally had not seen, he wasn't there after all. He watched the chrysalis slow, he saw the dust fade. Artemis looked around, searching for Wally, "Wait- where's Wally!?".The Flash reluctantly walked forward, looking Arty straight in the eyes, "He- He wanted me to tell you." Artemis looked shocked, she started crying, "He loved you Artemis." Artemis fell to her knees sobbing, Megan came to comfort her. "Loved!? I'm STILL ALIVE!" Vandal turned off the TV and grinned, "Not to them, to them you're dead." Wally lashed out yelling, "LIAR!!" Wally grit his teeth, he felt his throat lump. Vandal started making his way out when he turned back to grin, "Couperate and we'll get some bandages for those... cuts. We don't want our power core dying of blood loss, now do we?".

So Wally was the power core now?

Hi thanks for reading the first chapter of "The Truth." This is a re-done version of my old "The Truth." It was pretty terrible. So depressing 😂.
