Your POV
You ran down the street with tears streaking down your face. You could barely see where you were going since the tears were blurring your vision. Glimpses of other people rushed by you as the took in a bloody, tearful girl running down the street.
You felt new cuts open up on your heels for you had no shoes on. You hissed as you ran over a rock and it lodged into one of the bigger cuts. You felt blood trail down you heels and drip onto the side walk as you ran. Your chest was heaving and it felt as if it were on fire.
For every two breaths you let out you were lucky to just get even half of one in. Your legs started to protest in agony. You knew you had to stop soon but you pushed yourself to make it around another corner. Soon you started to slow down. You looked around taking in your surrounding for once.
You were by a old playground that was rusted and old. The top had fallen down and was now a top to the bottom floor and acted like a mini house. Well it looked like it to you. You turned around in a circle and noticed that there weren't that many people around. It looked like you've run into the more quieter parts of town.
Something told you to hide, get shelter, anything. You had a feeling you needed to get out of the open. You glanced around and saw that there wasn't any where to hide except the old rusted playground. Quickly you bolted into the shadows of the fallen house like structure. You wiggled into the corner and peeped through a small crack in the foundation.
You eyes widened as you saw your father make his way around the corner. He had changed into different clothes but you still saw some blood flecks on his face and in his hair. You held in a gasp and bit your tongue to keep from making any noise.
You watched as he looked around quickly and sigh. He looked worried. "Reader..? Reader where are you?" He would call out every few minutes. He kept walking before his gaze landed on the abandoned play ground.
You sucked in a sharp breath and tried to conceal yourself in the corner were it was the darkest and were the light barely hit the place. Your heart pounded as you heard him get closer...then closer...Until you saw he lean over the hole you were hiding in. He looked around but didn't seem to see you. You held your breath as he walked away.
As soon as he was out of sight you exhaled quietly and rubbed at your eyes. You were exhausted but you had no where to sleep. Just thinking about being alone made you whimper. Which you regretted because and hand grabbed your shoulder and spun you around.
"Gotcha." You heard a voice say.
