She shuddered, terrified to know that whatever had prompted someone to make such a bloodcurdling scream was nearby. Curiousity got the better of her as she peered over the tree trunk. She saw a young girl with long auburn hair (similiar to her own). The girl was laying face down on the floor and blood was pouring from a massive wound on her arm. A guard stood beside the girl. Sianna's eyes focused on the guards hand, he was holding a mace covered in what she could only assume was the girls blood. Sianna quickly ducked down after scanning the scene, if she were spotted the girls blood wouldn't be the only blood dripping from the mace.

"This is what you get for trying to escape you tiny little rat, you'll never escape this place! So get the hell up and drag yourself back to your cell before I throw you in a ditch and bury you alive!" The guard shouted furiously.

Sianna peeked over the tree stump once again, she felt as if she was looking at her past self. The guards had always caught her when she had tried to escape, the scars that covered her arms proved it. Ever since she had been captured by the guards when she was just 6 years old she knew she would one day escape. She watched as the girl struggled to get to her feet.  When she had managed to stand up Sianna saw another wound on the girls leg, it looked infected. The guard shoved the girl making her yelp, she then muttered something under her breath (which Sianna couldn't quite make out) as she hobbled back through the woods, leaving a trail of blood.
