1 | "Welcome"

Ring Ring.........Ring Ring! Athena's phone rings in her pocket. "Hey it's Athena!" She answers, taking it out of her pocket and putting it up to her ear as she navigates her way through the almost empty airport. "Hey Ath, it's Jay!" Jay Halstead says excitedly. "Hey Jay!" She squeals, it being nice to here her brothers voice for the first time in eight years. "So I heard you got a job at Intelligence with me!" He says. "Yeah I did!" She tells him knowing how happy he and Will are going to be.

"Do you want me to pick you up from the airport?" He offers. "Yes please, i was gonna Call a cab but I'd rather see you!" She thanks him as she hears him grab his keys and say something to someone before walking down some steps. "I'll be there soon!" He says before hanging up. Athena went into the Rangers when she was 16, around the same time as Jay. Jay and Mouse left and both work at CPD but she stayed for longer since she was younger. She's now 24 and decided it's time to come home.

Fifteen minutes later, a black GMC pulls up in front of her. "Athena!" Jay says, jumping out and running up to her. He flings his arms around her, swinging her around. "Hey Jay, I missed you." She sighs, kissing his cheek as he puts her down. "God, you have no idea how much we've missed you!" He beams. "How's mouse?" She asks as Jay puts her luggage in the trunk. "He's going good, he's working at the district with us as our techie." He tells her as she nods, hopping in the front of the truck as Jay does the same. "Now I get to work with both of you!" She squeals, making Jay laugh. "Where are you staying?" He asks her after a few minutes of silence and enjoying each other's presence. "You remember Harley?" She says as he nods, "Yeah." "Well We're sharing an apartment." She tells him as he nods.

"Remember, me, Will or even Mouse are always happy to let you stay at ours." He tells her, turning to look at her. "Thanks." She smiles as he faces the road again. "Wills, now a doctor at Chicago Med and had a girlfriend." He tells her as her jaw drops. "He actually went to med school?" She says, proud of her big brother. "Yeah, he's an official doctor." He says still kind of shocked himself. "Who's his girl?" She asks as they near the district.

"Also can we go to Med?" She adds as Jay nods. "Her names Natalie and she's also a doctor at Med. They seem to really like each other except she has a child with her husband except he died." Jay explains as her eyes go wide. "Oh no, is Will even good with kids?" She laughs. "Surprisingly Yes." He laughs as well as they pull up at Med. She follows Jay inside the hospital, getting a few odd looks from some nurses because they've never seen her before. "Will?" She call out as Jay leads her into the doctors lounge.

"Athena!" Will gasps, jumping off the couch he was sat on and running over to her. He lifts her up, spinning her around. "You're back!" He smiles, pulling her into another hug. "I misses you!" She giggles as he finally lets her go. "What are you doing back?" He asks. "I got a job as a detective in the intelligence unit with Jay." She tells him. "So you're staying?" He gasps as she nods. "For good." She confirms as he pulls her into another hug.

"Anyway, i need to get her to the district to she can finallt meet Voight." Jay tells him as he nods. "I'll see you and your girlfriend later!" She shouts to him as she and Jay walk out. "You're gonna scare him." Jay laughs as she follows him back out to his car. She gets in the passanger side and Jay drives down to the 21st district. He parks and walks you inside. "Hey Trudy, this is Athena Halstead." He says as Trudy turns around and freezes. "Wow, you look exactly like each other." She says to Jay. "You're my new favourite." She says before buzzing them up. "Thanks Trudy." Jay laughs as they walk up the steps and through a door before walking up more steps and appearing in a room with a few desks and people.

"Guys, this is Athena Halstead." Jay introduces her to the four people in the room at present. "Wow." She hears a guy mutter. She assumes its Antonio Dawnson from whats shes heard about him from Jay. "I'm Erin." Erin says, introducing herself. "Thars Antonio, Alvin and Adam." She adds, introducing the other three. They all shake her hand. "This is your desk." Jay tells her, leading her to a desk. "Thanks. She tells him, putting her bag down on the desk.

Jay goes over and knocks on Hanks office door. "Voight, this is Athena." He tells him as you appear behind him. "Come in." He says to he as she obliges, sitting down in the chair opposite him. "You're gonna settle in well here but first, heres your badge and you will be riding with Antonio since he is your partner." He tells her as she nods, not having a problem with it. "We are currently working on a case of a murder of a little girl who went missing three days ago and no one reported it until her body turned up yesterday. She was shot in the head, execution style. Antonio will fill you in on the way to the scene." He tells her as she nods. She gets up as he walks out and talks to Antonio.

"Take her to see the scene." Voight tells Antonio as he nods. You grab your coat, slippingh it on as Antonio follows you out to the cars. He unlocks the car so you get in the passanger side. He gets in and starts driving down to where the scene is.
