New day, new school day, new student. Hold up, new student? Yep, and as soon as that boy dared his first step into the classroom your mates turned hysterical along with you. Majority owned the powerful force to keep it inwardly, secret and hidden, though, other as one would expect now, their emotions didn't seem certainly positive outcomes. Mixed feelings, people threw disgusted glances at him, other students began talking to their seat neighbor, let's wonder what or who they'd been talking about. Also your "friend", if she was even worth getting called such, turned over to you, tapping your shoulder rapidly. No response. A trance was what you felt trapped in, a condition in which you had lost all senses and logic thoughts, you were just in your own little world. "Hey. Hey. Y/n. HEY", she poked your arm harder each second, successfully sending pain through your body. Unexpected from both sides you suddenly winced together for a short moment before immediately drawing a distance between your friend and yourself. Obviously, you felt some sort of uncomfortable all of a sudden. "Are you okay?", She asked, looking worried to a certain extent. You just nodded it off, back at focusing on that new guy. You were the only one who did not treat negative thoughts about him. Ripping you straight out of daydreams, he sat down next to your friend who moved closer to you again as he did so.
"Could you please NOT come any closer", you begged her in a somewhat rude way, trying to hide your fear of touches. Although you were a very outgoing and extroverted person you preferred not getting physical.
"Y/n, Why did that guy sit down next to ME?", she complained, leaving you confused.
"Isn't that a good thing?"
"Seriously? Have you looked at him already?"
"Girl, I pretty much analyzed him"
"That's a valid reason to know why I don't want that. And he smells like smoke"
This sentence was another slap, widening your eyes a whole lot. Secretly, you had been a smoker for a while already but the entire class would have most likely neglected you if you gave any hints.
"Uh, uhmmmm, that's also okay, I guess?"
"What, it is not. Can't you see he ain't looking like a good influence?"
"Who these days wants a good influence. Fuck it now, if you don't wanna sit next to him I'm gonna"
In one swift motion you stood up, pushed her chair aside and placed your own next to the new boy, letting your ass fall into the seat. Indeed, he spread the smell of cigarettes and alcohol during a long night in the streets. That's exactly what it reminded you of. While preparing your stuff for the following lesson the boy looked over "Everything okay with her?", grabbing every single piece of your attention. You looked back "Oh yeah, yeah, she is. She is a little.....how do I say that.....judgemental. Sorry for the inconveniences". The boy smirked, unexpectedly leaned closer, starting to whisper "So she's an asshole in your eyes?". Before your shocked self could answer he laughed it off already. "Actually you're completely right. How'd you know?", You replied as honestly as never before. "I noticed you looked slightly annoyed when she talked to you", he stated, leaving a good impression as future psychologist. Admitting that everything he had said was correct, you started laughing, pulling him into the curse too.
Right meanwhile, your friend poked you again until it destroyed the moment. "What", you snapped back.
"What are you even doing??? I didn't want you to sit there because I knew you'd chat him up"
"Let me be social"
"The only feature you two share is your style. Nothing else"
"Oh I guess there's some more"
