Think about it Katya. She took that money within two seconds! If she was as morally conscious as she tried to convince me she was, she would have never done that. I was almost waiting for her to reject the offer. And not only does she accept the offer she gave us her car! Like who does that. Not too mention we're being followed. Im not being paranoid, Im sure that he's using the gps on this car to find us. How else can you explain me seeing that black GMC at the hospital and then seeing it three hours later in a completely different part of town.

Im sure that all makes sense in your head, but let's be real GMC didn't stop making black trucks after the first one.

Defeated and tired, Anastasia reluctantly agreed with her best friend. The scenario she had come up with in her head was far fetched. But, so was Ishmale crushing her windpipe. He was the first man she had met through the escort company that showed her so much kindness. She never expected him to be a wolf in sheep's clothing. She also had fallen in love and her love for him gave room for doubt. He wouldn't go to these extremes, why would he?

They checked into a hotel and got ready for bed. Anastasia called the escort company while she was in the bathroom and told them everything. They told her that he would be dealt with and not to worry. She asked if there was any information they could offer her about his file, but she knew that was against the rules. She told them to take her off the books for  a while and they agreed to. She laid in the bed with Katya, as she stroked her hair until Anastasia drifted off.

Katya had forgotten her charger in the car and decided to go down and get it. As she was closing the car door, a large figure appeared before her. Ishmale came closer until his face was in view.

Ma'am do you have a lighter? He said with a deep voice.

Katya jumped back. Oh my god, you almost gave me a heart attack! She said still holding her chest. What are you doing here? Are you fucking following us?

Listen I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt her.

Ishmale could care less if he had killed her but he was thankful he hadn't. His plan could still work.

Why aren't you keeping up your end of the bargain?

Me! Keeping up my end of the bargain? You promised me you wouldn't hurt her, so I guess we both broke promises.

Ishmale grabbed Katya's neck and lifted her off her legs. Don't forget I gave you fifty thousand to help me keep surveillance on her. All you have to do is report back to me and if I don't get what I paid for, I will hurt you too. He let go of her, letting her fall to the ground.

She coughed as she caught her breath and Ishmale disappeared back into the darkness.

Katya went back upstairs and cuddled beside her best friend. Out of all the things she had done in her life this was the most fucked up. They were supposed to be ride or die. She wanted to come clean but how could she ? Especially seeing what a monster Ishmale had turned into. She was in too deep and there was no turning back. She had to do both, play her cards rights and protect Anastasia.

The next day Katya convinced Anastasia that they should go back to their hometown and visit their parents. She knew this was a far reach because Anastasia hadn't talked to her mom in years. She had to convince her though, Ishmale wanted access to her family business, not her and this was the best way to take Anastasia out of the equation all together. The situation they were in also presented the perfect opportunity to make this visit home. Anastasia was reluctant but she was also vulnerable and so she agreed.
