The Birth

-at Nightmares castle-

As Dream looked at a picture of Vediovous he had taken, he wondered if it was possible if Vediovous loved him back. Dream had fallen in love with the motherly glitch of a skeleton after meeting him at Nightmares castle, love at first sight, you could say.

Vediovous sighed, flipping a pancake onto a plate and beginning a new one. He had gone back to Nightmare’s castle after staying with Gaster for a day. He had very bad memories of Gaster’s lab and didn’t want to stay or live there. 

Error was on the couch, Nightmares arms wrapped around his belly. Errors very swollen, pregnant belly. He really looked ready to burst. Error nuzzled Nightmares cheek, just relaxing against him as he rubbed his belly. 

Horror was peeking around the corner of the kitchen, watching Vediovous’s hips sway as he cooked, wiping drool away from his mouth and hoping that the motherly glitch didn’t notice him.

Dream started to walk down to the kitchen Vediovous was in, hoping to tell the skeleton about his feelings. He saw Horror drooling and immediately knew what was happening. “Step away. Now.” Dream whispered out a hiss, deeply angered. 

Horror looked over at Dream with a smirk. “Why should I?” he whispered back, smirk still in place. “He would never love someone like you, Dream” he hissed mockingly. “You’ve tried to kill his ‘precious son’ way too many times to count after all~” he purred. “You won’t win~”

“Wanna bet. Who would love a killer like you. After all, didn’t you kill most of those children in your AU. I mean, you’ve done much more than me. And besides, I’ve been working for Ink unwillingly, and only he harmed Error. I hurt Ink when I found out what he did to Error in the forest. And also, in my AU, I never killed anyone. Ever. So there.” Dream wanted to try to hurt Horror’s morals, but he knew he wasn’t as innocent as he thought he was. He had been subject to the same substance as his brother had, but not nearly as much as his brother. 

Error growling suddenly caught both skeletons attention. “If YoU AssHoLes ThinK For EvEn A MOmEnT AbOuT GoinG AfTEr My MotHeRS LoVE, i WiLl PerSonAllY BasH boTh Of yOuR SkuLLs In WitH a SharpEneD bOne!” Error hissed threateningly, making Horror flinch. 

All three skeletons flinched as they heard Vediovous speak. “Go AftEr mY whAt? InnOcenCE? I HavE NoNE lEfT” Vediovous giggled, holding a big plate of pancakes that could feed the whole gang, even with pregnant Error. “BreAkFasT IS reAdy DeaRS!” he called out to the castle’s inhabitants, setting the plate on a dining table before retreating back into the kitchen to go make sausage and toast. 

Dream couldn’t speak. He was so stunned by the reaction Vediovous had, he was dumbfounded. 

Horror choked on the words he was gonna say next. Error smirked a bit and took out his phone, texting Gaster. 

Error: HeY Dad, HorRor And DreAm ArE AftER MomS LovE 

Gaster: Then tell them if they take one more attempt at his love, they’re gonna have a bad time. Lol, it sounded better in my head. 

Error: XD WoW Dad, But AlrigHt

Error smirked as he put his phone back in his pocket. He gripped both Dream and Horrors necks, leaning in close to them. “mAkE One WronG MovE tOwarDS My MaMma ANd I’Ll SenD YoU BotH To GastErS PLaCE to Get YouR AsSes Kicked...UnderStaND?” Horror frowned but nodded. He had given up already. 

Error pulled out his phone again. 

Error: WhY Don’T YoU JuSt MoVe IntO NigHTs CastLe Dad? Then We CaN boTh KeEp An Eye On Mom

Gaster: Sure, I suppose I could pack my things. Though I think maybe Vediovous doesn’t like me much. 

Error: He doEs Dad, He JUsT Doesn’T lIKE the CabiN AnYmoRe BeCauSe of The MeMorIeS, He wouLd Be muCh mOre oPeN To YoU IF yOu MoVed HerE, Im SURe of It :)

Gaster: Sure, son, I’ll be there in a couple of days.

Error: AlriGhT Dad, SeE ya THen.

As I put away my phone, I wondered if Vediovous really would like to see me again. I knew that years without my emotions had traumatizing effects, but I had an idea that could fix it. If I did whatever Vediovous wanted me too, maybe I could make him happy again. 

Nightmare sighed as he wrapped an arm around Error who was leaning against him. 

Error suddenly shot up and stilled, making Nightmare stiffen. "...sweetie?" 

Error looked over at Nightmare, eyes wide in fear. "THe BabIes ComInG!" 

Vediovous immediately shot into the room and had Error lay down on the couch. Nightmare and the others stepped back as they let Vediovous help Error.

It took about an hour, but Vediovous cradled a small infant, wrapping it up in the blanket he had made for it as Nightmare helped Error sit up, Vediovous handed their baby to them, smiling softly as Error began to cry in joy, clutching his newborn close.

Vediovous and Nightmare both helped Error up the stairs and to Nightmares room so he could rest.

The baby in question had black bones, yellow and red tipped fingers like Error, glitches on their little body and turquoise square like markings on their cheeks. (If you can't tell guys its Gradient ;3) 

There eyes weren't open yet. They were also one of the rare cases where a glitch was born fully in their glitch form, wich is what their great grandfather was like so Error wasn't surprised. 

Error sniffled, only smiling as he heard his baby cry out softly. He laid in the bed, taking his shirt off, his upper ecto body forming on instinct for being a new mother. The baby latched onto one of Errors breasts and began to suckle from him, Error just being overwhelmingly happy. 

Nightmare leaned over the bed and squeezed Errors hand. "What are you gonna name them love?" He asked gently. Error hummed. "I'm GoNna NaMe TheM GrAdiEnT" he smiled, kissing his newborns head. 

"wElCoMe To ThE FamIlY GrAdiEnT"

Alright so. I have changed my mind. There will be a new love triangle.

Since my friend is playing Gaster, and now Dream, he wants Gaster and Vedi to stay together, but there will be a war between Dream and Gaster over Vedi's love >;3

The baby is finally here guys!
