Riding home was beyond exhausting, I had forgotten just how much killing someone took out of you, it was still dark but dawn was approaching fast and looking the way I was, cops would have some questions. Pulling into my driveway the sun was now rising, claiming off my bike I headed straight for the front door but before I could open it, it swung open revelling Beast standing there, the emotions that crossed his face in the matter of seconds where relief and horror as to be expected.
"What the he'll happened? Where have you been Nix?"
Looking Derek dead in the eyes, I pushed past him headeding straight for a much needed shower, but Derek was hot on my heels.
"NIX! Don't ignore me!"
Clenching my first, and gritting my teeth out of irritation I swiftly turned around looking my friend in his eyes
"What do you wanna know huh?"
"What happened? Who's blood is that and don't say, you was in the ring, because I know for a fact fights never get that bloody"
"I did what needs to be done Derek!..Stay out of it you've got kids they don't need to be going to your funeral okay"
"That's not an answer Nix...come on, you can tell me who the hell am I gonna tell, I said I wanted in remember"
Derek had turned his hard times voice into a much softer one, gental as he spoke, his eyes conveying an emotion I haven't seen in far to long, looking Beast in his eyes studying him, the way he stood the way he spoke but I wouldn't put him through this kind of life, it ruines a person for life, broken beyond repair something I knew all to well, sighting I finally spoke to him in the same kind, gental tone he had befor.
"I'll tell you what I can Derek... but trust me when I tell you this...my life, what I do, the people I know if they so much as think you know too much they are going to hunt down every person you've ever known, meet, loved and kill them even your kids, I know this because I've had to do it...so no you don't want this life and over my dead, cold body will I see you in this type of life so drop it, now I'm going to get a shower, go rest Beast"
With that I walked away from "My friend" knowing what I had just said will no doubt make him leave like everyone else did, that's why I don't get attached to anyone I keep that at an arms length away.
CHIBS POV
I need ta know wat ma kitten was hiding it was killing me but not just me but Jax was now feeling it, there was a tention about wat she had said yesterday, with everything going on inside the club this isn't the best time for us too have more problems I just hope ma kitten okay that Nix's is safe.
JAX POV
Finding out I had more family than the club was amazing to find out, I had an uncle at one point in time, I've got an older cousin too but what scared me was, she was in so deep with the Irish and this underground fighting, what wasn't she into but with my kid in the world, Tara back in town I couldn't help but feel like I needed someone to talk to I need to talk to Nix about everything and I need to know what she was hiding the club comes first.
PHOENIX POV
After a good 2hours in the shower, scrubbing my entire body multiply times, I was finally clean, gathering my bloody clothes I walked into my bedroom throwing them into the bin by my door, I look for something comfy to wear for the new day.
