Dan's POV
University was amazing but I decided that this year it would be good to move into an apartment.One problem.I need someone to live with.I'm pretty sure all my friends have someone to stay with this year but... Wait. Phil.Phil was saying, the other day he needed a room mate!I quickly dial his number and he picks up almost suddenly.His joyful voice sounds down the phone.Hearing his voice always makes me smile.
'Hi Dan! What's up?'
'Hi Phil!I was just...um... Wondering if you had maybe found a roommate yet?' I say nervously.
I don't know why I am so nervous.He is one of my best friends but something inside me is worried about getting turned down by him.He is perfect, what can I say?
'no I havent actually.why?
'GREAT!' I rejoice down the phone.
what the heck! What are you saying Dan?
'i mean... Well I wondered if you wanted to move in with me?Maybe?'
'Yeah that would be great!' he said in his angelic voice.
My face grew into a huge smile.
'Cool! Did you wanna go into town tomorrow to discuss it? Maybe grab a Starbucks?' I suggested.
'Yeah! That would be great!See you at 10 tomorrow morning?' he asked.
I agreed and we said goodbye to each other.
The second I put down the phone I sank into the sofa.Wow.I can't believe I am going to be living with him!My smile was stuck in a large grin and my heart fluttered with happiness.
