I put my eyes to the ground. First day here and I'm already being talked about. This isn't news to me. Happens every school year. What's the big fuss about? I'm a normal girl. Just like any other girl and freaking human on earth. Why do I have to be talked about?
I put my eyes up. I don't want to bump into anyone. I will be the laughing stock, and on the first day. No thanks .
"Excuse me?"
A voice says
It's coming from behind me
"Yea?"
A girl with blonde hair with blue eyes looks at me. No. Stares at me. What her problem?
"Aren't you the new student everyone is talking about?"
She touched the strap around her neck

"News sure does travel fast in here, huh"
She giggles.
"Sure does"
We both giggle and then stop. Can it get anymore awkward.
"I'm Charis, but you can call me Ris"
Oh. That's a unique name. As a matter of fact, I have heard that name before.
"For no reason at all... would you mind telling me your last name?"
She scratches the back of her head. Thinking.
"Lowen"
Oh. That's last name seems familiar to me. Charis Lowen. I can't seem to remember.
"Thanks. My name is Asena. Asena Miller"
Her eyes widen.
"Omg! Aren't your parents like the CEO of two of the biggest companies in Japan?!"
I nod my head. News really does travel fast here.
"That's so cool. Would you like to be friends?"
That seems suspicious. Why does she want to be friends with me? Is it because my parents are rich? Well if it is. Doesn't mean that I am.
"Sure"
Why did I say that? I'm always nice. Too late to say anything now.
"Yay! Bestie for life"
I cringe at that. Who says that.
"What class do you have"
"U.S history"
"Omg! Me too. It's fate"
She grabs my hand and pulls me to the direction of my classroom.
