Jack walked out, along with everyone else, to Jaeden's backyard.

"Jack!"

He recognized the voice all too well. A smile instinctively appeared on his face and he turned around to see Jaeden.

"Hey!" He shouted back as he walked towards him.

"Come sit with us." He said, wrapping his arm around Jack's.

Jack had almost blushed but he tried his best to keep cool. As he walked with Jaeden to the table, he started to daydream about doing this with him romantically. Possibly holding his hand instead of just arms wrapped around each other. He snapped out of it once Jaeden pulled his arm away to sit. Jack sat as well and quickly noticed Lilia on Jaeden's left.

He sighed softly, adding a smile soon after to dismiss the sadness in it.

"We meet again." Lilia said with a small laugh.

"I guess we do." He responded, looking to his right and seeing Wyatt.

"Shut up." Wyatt said, playfully.

"Hey! I hardly said anything." Jack laughed.

"But I know whatever you're going to say is going to be obnoxious and most likely annoying." Wyatt raised an eyebrow at him.

Jack opened his mouth to respond but then thought for a second. "Yeah, you're right actually."

"Exactly."

"Hey, Jack." Lilia said and he felt Jaeden patting his shoulder.

Jack turned around, looking at her. "Yes?"

"How are you and Finn doing?"

Jack blinked.

"What?"

"How are you and your boyfriend?" Jaeden asked.

"Finn and I aren't together-"

"But Jaeden says-" Lilia started but Jaeden interrupted.

"Fack is real."

Jack rolled his eyes. "It's not, we're just friends and I have a girlfriend."

"Right, Ellie, the mysterious girl that we've never seen." Wyatt said, joining in on the conversation.

"She's real, oh my god." Jack pushed his hands through his hair in frustration.

"Look," Jaeden said, holding his phone up to Jack's face. There was an interview where Jack had kissed Finn's cheek on and he groaned, covering his face.

"I don't like Finn and we're not together. Ellie didn't want to come because you didn't invite her yourself." He pulled his own phone out and showed Jaeden a picture of him and Ellie kissing. "Now do you believe me?"

Jaeden smirked, responding sarcastically,  "Oh of course I do."

Before Jack could say anything else, Angela, Jaeden's mom, stood up.

"We're going to sing happy birthday!" She announced, picking up her phone to record.

Everyone clapped excitedly and she began singing. They soon joined in, singing along. Jack sang some as well but as he looked over at Jaeden's cute smile, he got the urge to kiss his cheek. He got that urge with Finn as well, but Finn was just attractive to him; it wasn't like he had a full on crush on him.

Without thinking more about it, Jack kissed Jaeden's cheek. When he pulled away, he remembered the camera quickly and glanced at it before his eyes landed on Lilia's. She looked at him curiously, but turned her attention back to Jaeden, who was blushing.

Jack smiled to himself before turning to Wyatt. As soon as the camera's were off, Wyatt leaned in to whisper, "That's pretty gay."

Jack froze for a second. That had been the first time that someone, in person, had talked about his sexuality. In reality, Jack wasn't even sure of what he was. All he knew was that he liked whoever he liked and that was okay with him. He shook his head, as if clearing his head and laughed.

"You've done it too." He pointed out.

Wyatt lifted his hands up slightly, as if in surrender, "Hey, we've all had a small crush on Jaeden."

Jack nodded but then realized what he meant, "Wait what-"

Wyatt got up quickly avoiding his question, "I'm going to go get cake."
