Well I guess I am to some extent though, it wasn't so long when I came out from my shell let me use that cliche, I can say the credit goes to my high school lol u wondering how?
Alright I'll tell you. When I was in secondary school SS3 I guess, I was given a post as an assembly prefect funny right? I mean who gives a shy girl a post like this was how it happened.
On a norms, the method to choose a prefect in my school was always done though voting which was the ideal thing to do, but this time it wasn't so. The teachers and the principal all came to an agreement that they would be the one's to choose a prefect for each post of their choice, I was kinda happy at the change cause the teachers knew my kind of person"that shy type" although I had enough quality that would have qualified me for that post but being shy on the other hand would disqualify me, at least that was what I thought, so yeah I was happy.
So that day eventually came, they called some of my mates, asked them some few questions, let's just say it was kinda like an interview? Yeah it was. Suddenly one of my friends came and told me that I was being called by the teachers and I was like "are you sure " cause I never saw that coming, anyways I went and I was also interviewed.
The following day the result was announced on the assembly and boom I was on the list 😂as an assistant assembly prefect, that was when it occurred to me that they did it to make me better, am not saying I didn't worth it, but just that I had something that my qualifications couldn't help "shyness". So, I started my duty immediately, at first it was hard having to face so many people but as time went on I was able to do great with the help of my fellow prefect and my teachers.
So that was my turning point.
