Chapter 1
*BEEP BEEP* *BEEP BEEP*
Arm stretched out, snoozing the alarm. "Its only 7:45am, just 5 minutes more".
"Alex, wake up!" "Just 5 minutes more mom!" pulling the blanket over my head. "No more 5 minutes! Its 8:30am, you only have 15 minutes left to get ready for school. You're going to be late!" "WHAT?! 15 minutes?!" quickly I jumped out of the bed.
I got ready as quick as I jumped out of my bed. Gushing out the house into my Inferno Red Crystal Pearl 2007 Chrysler Sebring sedan without worrying how I was dressed or how I looked that morning, the only thing that's in my mind is why did I freaking snoozed the alarm! And, I'm so going to be late. Late for my first day of high school! Ugh!
When I reach the school, the school compound was nearly empty because almost everyone is in their own classroom now. I was 10 minutes late when I reached my classroom. Boy! You could just see all the eyes staring at me, the awkwardness. I quickly took my seat at the last row of the class since every available seat was occupied. Kris isn't in the same class with me, she's smarter than I am so she was placed in a better class, pfft.
As my eyes scan across the room looking at some of the familiar faces that I have studied with before when I was in junior high, I saw someone walked past the class. He has a dark wavy brown hair, tall and well-built body. Alas, I only saw his back but I felt weird, there's just something about that person.
The day went on just perfectly, no booing or paper balls thrown at me whenever I past anyone. I met Kris at the hallway, smiling so hugely at me. We were both so excited that we're in high school, finally!
