Deaf! Deku (bakudeku)

chapter 1

Hi my name is Izuku Midorya and I was born deaf. Although some may think of this as a bad thing, I don't. Why? Well when I was young I developed really good eyesight and observing skills. I can also read lips well and I know sign language. I do have All Mights quirk, one for all. But enough about that, on with the story!

I woke up to silent birds singing and the bright yellow sun shining on my face. I look at the green and grey clock on my bedside table and read the time, 7:38 A.M. Just in time for breakfast. I hurriedly got dressed in my UA uniform, and rushed downstairs. Once I arrive at the bottom of the stairs I see my mom placing light brown pancakes on two white porclen plates at our seats at the table. When we sat down my mother signed to me "Good morning Izuku, are you ready for your first day at UA?" and I signed back with a smile  "Ya, I can't wait!" The school year had already started a week ago but I had several doctors appointments and couldn't start until today. Either way the teachers thought it would be better to wait but im not sure why. Once I was done eating I headed to the door my mom following close behind. I put on my red sneakers, signed bye to my mom and headed out the door to school. Once I got there I headed through the gates and to classroom 1-A. My teacher Mr.Aizawa signed for to me to wait outside until the class settled down. I did as told and waited until I was aloud in, when I walked in everyone stared and it kind of freaked me out. I looked at the teacher and read his lips as he introduced me. He said "This is Izuku Midorya. He is new here and also deaf, please be nice to him and try not to crowd around him. He can read lips and knows sign language. You may ask questions now." As soon as he said that a lot of hands shot up and Mr.Aizawa called on a girl with pink hair and skin with yellow horns, I think her name was Mina. I looked at her and read her lips as she said "Hi Midorya, I have a question. How did you become deaf?" When she said that a few hands went down telling me that she wasn't the only one wondering that. I turned around to the chalk board and wrote that I was born deaf. She nodded and picked on a short kid with purple balls on his head. I read his lips as he said "No deaf person should have made it into the hero course. Your pretty much useless without hearing" After hear that I felt tears in my eyes and I could see several people yelling at him. Mr.Aizawa took him out of the class room and a boy with red and white hair came up to me. He signed to me "Don't be upset, Mineta's always like that" that made me feel a little better and I was happy that somone else in the class knew sign language. I signed back "Ok thank you" and smiled. Then I'm assuming the bell rang because everyone got up and left the class. As I went to my next class I felt like I was being watched. I turned around and was met with crimson eyes. It was a boy he had spiky blond hair and as soon as I was done analyzing him I knew who he was. Kacchan.
