The alarm was blaring but Reid did not stir. He was so high his brain didn't even register what the noise was, he didn't recognize the smoke alarm.

1 am
Reid couldn't sleep, he had wanted to so badly but the nagging in the back of his head was keeping him up. He wanted to so badly, but he couldn't. If he was found out he would be fired. He couldn't say no. Reid got up and went to go get his dilaudid that was hidden in the secret room behind the bookcase, all he had to do was reach for the correct book and pull straight out. After he was all situated on his kitchen floor he slowly injected it into his arm. He knew that he should only use a little bit, just enough to satisfy himself but it screamed at him to use the whole vile, which was enough to knockout a full grown black bear. Reid drifted away, his heart rate slowing with every breath.

3 am
Someone in the building started a fire cooking their breakfast, but Reid was still absent on his floor. The smoke alarm in his apartment was now going off because the house right next door was the one that caught on fire. The fire now spreading to Reid's apartment was only growing, the fire department no where to be seen. Suddenly Reid started coughing, this slowly bringing him out of his deep slumber he realizes what is happening. When he tries to get up he notices he can't feel his legs, he can't move his legs. The heat is now burning his skin, sending him into a frenzy. At that moment a fire man comes sprinting in, having heard Reid screaming, even though he didn't know that he was.

4 am
At the hospital Reid is hooked up to many machines, miserable, because he hated hospitals, and because his team has just arrived. He is upset to see Flynn walk through the hospital room door first, clearly upset. He starts yelling in Spencer's face, "how could you do this, after what happened before, how could you be so dumb?" Reid is processing this but in a sort of panick, because he caught a glimpse of Hotch at the nurses station. "The bau is here you have to leave! Now!" Reid and Flynn both know that the bau can't see them arguing, after all the bau don't know about Flynn, or about any of the other team. Flynn leaves the room and takes the rest of the cia team with him.
