Elizabeth POV

My name is Elizabeth Liones. I had just turned 17 not too long before I moved with my father and two sisters, Veronica and Margaret. Veronica was 19 and Margaret was 23. Margaret acted more as a motherly figure to me than a sister. I never really had a mother since I was adopted by my father when I was a baby and even back then Margaret and Veronica's mother had been dead for about 2 years. Margaret always tells me about her; she tells me how gentle and kind she was to everyone and how beautiful she was. I guess she was a lot like me, in a way. We both preferred to be kind and didn't like to hurt people. It's sort of comforting knowing your deceased adoptive mother, who you'd never meet, was still like you.

We pulled up to a large house. It wasn't a mansion, however it did have three floors from what I could see from the exterior. It was a tanish-eggshell color which was accented by white along the windows and door frames. Above the front door was a circular window from which you could see a chandelier hanging from the inside. In the lawn, there were white picket fences and a few neatly trimmed bushes, along with a garden section and a few trees. I was excited to see my room, so as soon as we parked I quickly hopped out and ran towards the door.

"Elizabeth! Don't forget to grab your things!" My father reminded me from a distance.
"Right!" I said and ran back to the car. I grabbed my suitcases and bolted for the door once again.

Inside, there was a stairway along with two openings on each side of the stairway. The opening on the left led to the kitchen and the one on the right led to to living room. I ran upstairs to my room and began to unpack. We dragged all of our beds and dressers inside and put them all together. Once we were finished, I could finally be alone and decorate my room. Tomorrow...

I was exhausted from moving so I needed to rest. I tucked myself into bed and drifted off into a deep sleep.

-

I had a dream. I was a goddess, wings and all. I was in the goddess realm, but I was on my way to another realm. The human realm? I landed by a big tree with pink petals. It seemed like I was waiting for someone. Soon enough, someone showed up. I didn't get to see their face, but they had blond, unruly hair. They let out a chuckle, then I woke up.

Could it have been a memory of the past? No, that's silly. I think. I mean, I have been having those sorts of dreams lately. It's as if my memory is missing. And considering I have goddess abilities, it doesn't seem too far fetched. I grabbed my journal from my dresser and wrote down my dream. I always do this just incase. I don't want to forget it, and maybe someone could help me in the future? Who knows. I just feel as though something important is missing.

I checked the time; it was only 3 pm. I sighed and stood up. I still had a lot of daylight left, so why not go walk around the city? I put a simple off-the-shoulder shirt on along with a red plaid skirt, and some shoes of course. I grabbed my phone and ran out of my bedroom to find my father and sisters, who were conveniently all in the living room.

"Ellie! You've been asleep since 7 am!" Veronica exclaimed.

"I have? Sorry, I was exhausted." I replied, scratching my arm.

"Why are you all dressed up?" Father asked.

"I was going to go walk around the city and see
what's around! I figured I should at least be familiar since we live here now."

"Well, off you go then. Please keep safe!"

"I will!!" I said happily, running towards the door. As soon as I opened it, I was faced with a short blond boy. He chuckled, just like the person in my dream. My face grew hot, and I just couldn't cool it down!

"Yo! I was just about to knock!"
