I watch the cherry blossom petals fall around him as he smiles looking at them as they twirl around him with the wind.
I smile. He's happy. That's all I ever want.
"Sidnee, look." He calls my name and points at the sky. "That cloud looks like a heart. Isn't it pretty."
I look up at the heart shaped cloud and nod.
"It is, oppa."
I feel his hand slip into mine and look at him.
"You're prettier." He says.
I shake my head chuckling. "Oppa, that was cheesy."
He laughs. "I know, but true."
"I have to go Sidnee." He says sadness entangling his voice.
I nod also feeling sadness envelop my soul.
The sky is getting dark and the petals have stopped twirling.
He lets go of my hand and I watch as he walks away and he becomes the petals, the wind picking up one last time sending him far away again.
Spring is over.
