Ray and the boy shared the same class. His name was Xavier, he had curly brown hair and wore thin glasses. He learned from Xavier that Andrew was top-dog of the school
Ray hoped he didn't get to see him again.
But when Ray walked in the room, he stopped for a split second and saw Andrew from earlier sitting at the back talking with his friends. When he spotted Ray, he stopped and glared menacingly.
Xavier told Ray to follow him and they sat opposite to Andrew and his friends in the science lab. Hushed whispers rattled around them, people were still talking about the fight from before. Ray glanced a look behind him and he was met with Andrew's glass shattering eyes. He immediately looked away while his face turned red, he already was disliking his time at Littlewood Academy.
The teacher at the front stood up and greeted Ray.
"We have a new student with us his name is..."
"Ray," he murmured.
"I'm Mr Newton," he then glared to the class, "I hope you guys make him feel welcomed."
His message didn't seem to change anyone's opinion and they looked at him with many different expressions. The teacher instructed them to get the science equipment from the front. Everyone did as they told and scrambled to grab the items. Ray was in a partner with Xavier, and they went to their benches.
When Xavier was about to come back to the bench with safety glasses, someone's foot reached out to him and he tripped clumsily on the ground.
Andrew looked to him with a smirk and then back to Ray.
Ray already felt the burning sensation lingering in his stomach, despite his uneasiness, he walked up to him and with all his confidence he locked eye-contact with him.
"What is wrong with you?"
The man took a while to reply.
"He was in the way."
Xavier got up slowly, he staggered a little and Ray held onto his shoulder to steady him. He then looked back with a shot of hatred.
"What are you talking about, you tripped him!'
He just shook his head and walked away. This irritated Ray, so he rushed up to him, and shoved him against the bench painfully. The glass beaker on the bench fell to the ground and shattered at their feet.
Everyone in the classroom looked with interest, some even propped their phones up to take a video.
Andrew looked at Ray, the pain suddenly disappeared and his hands were in fists. His eyebrows arched boldly and his expression sent shivers down Ray's spine. His look always gave him goose bumps no matter what.
Ray expected Andrew to attack him, but he just stood there not doing anything.
"What's going on here!?" Mr Newton said as he walked to the back,
When he saw the beaker smashed on the floor and us next to it, he eyed us individually.
"Andrew and Ray what is this?!"
Ray looked at Andrew, and he stared at. Mr Newton.
"Sorry sir, it was an accident, I accidentally tripped and it knocked over," he said with convincing eyes and then he turned to urge at me to say something.
"Yes, I-I didn't mean to be in his way."
Mr Newton stood in silence and then nodded.
"Next time be careful," he said and went away to possibly go grab something to clean It up.
Ray was only left with Andrew who eyed him with a look saying, 'this isn't over.'
