The wind was howling throughout the city. A storm was brewing not that far away, but it wasn't just any storm. It wasn't a natural storm like you would see in the spring. No. This was created by something much more dangerous. Much more evil. This....thing....wants to control the world and enslave all humans to create evil minions. The only problem is....is that they will have to get past the heroes of the world first.

A flash of light occurs above. The wind increases in intensity, causing the windows to shake, the railings to rattle, and the wires to wave. Another flash, this time a lot closer than before. The feeling of electricity can easily be felt. Suddenly the power goes out. Lightning continues to launch itself, but only this time...it heads towards the ground. Instead of the asphalt being charred and burned, there lay a person.

Lightning surrounded them, seeming to be coming from them. Slowly they began to rise to their feet, only stumbling slightly. They looked up into the sky, through the rain, watching the storm. No more lightning was flashing in the sky, it all seemed to have followed them. The brightness caused it to be easier to see them. Their dark colored hair was a mess, the face covered in cuts and bruises, and eyes filled with determination. Then suddenly the storm and lightning was gone, no longer in the sky or surrounding them. Just gone....when suddenly a hideous creature jumped off a nearby building, landing on the asphalt with ease, despite its odd shape.

Before he could even react, more creatures jumped off. They formed a circle around the person, blocking all chances of escape. He moved his head from side to side, probably plotting a way out. He unexpectedly shot lighting out of his hands and towards the creatures.  With a horrific shriek, the creatures fell to the ground with a thump, a burning hole smoking on their chests. With one final jerk, each body lay limp.

Lightning was shot everywhere, hitting every single creature. One though, was able to get through the lightning and make a strike at the person. Taking a quick step back, he was barely able to avoid the sharp talons of the creatures tearing his flesh apart. But the victory didn't last long as the creature came back for a rebuttal, this time it met its mark. The creature's talons torn his side to shreds, causing blood to splatter on the ground. Not even a whimper was heard from him. The only other sound was of metal against leather, and soon after the creature's head hitting the asphalt. Its blood forming a puddle of black on the already black ground.

A thump of feet landing behind him, caused him to turn around in alert. But he seemed to have recognized the three people that stood behind him because once he saw who they were, his body instantly relaxed.

"Are you ok?" The one in the middle asked. They seemed to be a girl because of the long blond hair that was shining in the moonlight that was peeking through the clouds.

"Yes, I am fine. How about you three?" the first one asked.

"Me and Rollan are, but not her," the shortest of the other two admitted pointing towards the tallest one, named Rollan, and then to the girl.

That comment instantly caught the one's attention as he perked up and asked, "Wait. What do you mean, 'but not her'?" He studied the girl up and down and when his eyes landed on her neck, they went wide. "You're jugular was lacerated!"

"It's fine Diego. We can deal with it later, we have more important business to attend to right now," the girl stated calmly towards the first person, named Diego.

"It's not fine Brandi! You can end up not getting enough blood to your brain and then you can end up with extensive brain da..." he rambled before he was cut off.

"Diego!" Brandi yelled, " I said it was fine and that means that it is fine. Now we need to deal with matters at hand."

"You're right, but I will need to take a look at that when we get back to Heaven," he stated.

Brandi nodded. She then turned to Rollan and the fourth person, "Now Rollan, I will need you and Eric to try to go to downtown Swellview to see if you can try to stop those demons from killing anyone," her gaze turns to land on Diego. " Diego. You and I will go to the outer eastern edge and cut them off there. As us three saw, they tried to flee in that direction." Looking at all three she stated, "You three got that?"

"Yes ma'am!" They all yelled in unison.

Rollan and Eric turned around and started to run in the direction of where Brandi told them to go. Diego was about to run in the direction they were supposed to go when Brandi stopped him.

"Diego, we have to stop uncle from doing this. This city already has enough problems. More so then their heroes can handle," Brandi stated with a sadness within her eyes.

"I know Brandi, but he is doing this. This city...is one of a million. It is unique. We will get uncle to leave it alone. We will. Especially with you as our leader we can do anything. But I think we should probably get going," Diego chuckled.

"Indeed we should. Demons don't kill themselves...maybe." They both ran off laughing their heads off.

In the shadows, there stood someone of pure evil. Watching as all of them ran off. Once they were out of site, he stepped out and suddenly all power was turned on again, and he stood in the light of a street lamp. His thin frame was outlined in his shadow, his horns pultruding out of his head. He stood over the dead bodies of his minions, their blood soaking his feet. Looking down then looking to where the four ran off, his eyes began to glow bright red, and he began to laugh menacingly.

After his laugh, he began to speak, "You are right my nephew, this is a unique place. But I will make it more unique. As this city becomes the place I finally capture you my niece and nephew. You can't hide forever. And I will kill your sweet little brothers, but first I must torment the ones you will soon care for," a smile formed on his lips, "Trust me God's Descendants. I will capture you. And I will finally get my revenge on my inconsiderate brother. One day I will rule Heaven, while your father rots in Hell!" With that he vanished into air, taking the dead demon bodies with him back to his kingdom.
