Life is hard.
Like a box of chocolates?¿
———————————————————————-
They have been sitting in this dark and dusty cupboard for almost half of their lives. They felt old and helpless, just wanting to be eaten— what they were destined to be.. But who is willing to buy them anyway?
It's just another typical day or night perhaps, waiting to be taken out from the cupboard they had lived since the day they left the factory. The two best friends— Chocoate(dark) and Chocoeat(white)lived in there for the longest among all the snacks there, they were two ordinary chocolates made in the once well-known chocolate factory—Dairy Farm, but after the incidence that happened in last Chiristmas, no one, LITERALLY NO ONE, dared to buy products made in there...
-Chocoeat's POV-
"OH MY FKING GODD!! IS THIS LIGHT? JESUS IS COMING TO RESCUE USS!!!"
Although me and Ate's home had been going through financial instability since last Christmas, I still believed that Jesus is going to help us. (I am sceptical to the existence of God though, just enjoyed using Jesus'name :P)
It was a human!!
Wait of course it's a human, this is Earth after all.
Too bad it wasn't Jesus.
I saw a woman(maybe in her 50s?) who was talking on her phone, was about to open the cupboard we were in. She seemed to be looking for snacks to buy. Who would this lucky guy be to finally get out of this very uncomfortable place? I hope it would be me, and if so would Ate and I's pathetic fate be changed thanks to her?!?
"Hey Vicky, remember that day when I was training your class' choral speaking, I promised to buy a chocolate for each student. I don't have that much money to buy chocolate for all 38 students, but if you not mind is it okay to buy the..um, the chocolate from that factory that..you know, which has a bad reputation..*pauses* You won't know if you not try, besides, it was like a year ago, I'm sure the incident won't happen again.. *pauses again* Well, at least they are cheap enough so I will buy them anyway."
"WAIT, DID SHE MEAN US?" one of our chocomates said.
Yasssssss!! This day had finally arrived. Ate and I could finally leave this horrible place and show our life values.
"I just wished more people would buy snacks from our brand so our friends could be freed too.." said Ate. Maybe this was the chance we could finally find our new home.
