So here we are,
Africa is as you just figure it out. It wouldn't be my business to really change your mind. That remote mindset you have about Africa, that won't change even if crazy movies and documentaries were shot with mega scenes that show what Africa is, will never change not unless you've been here.
I wake up when my back starts to hurt. My mind is set to school but my feeble legs are too weak to get me out of bed. I figure out the bus will be here in half an hour as look at the clock on the table next to my bed. Meeeen!! I hate this feeling. My head heavy of last night's lack of sleep. The wakanda story was too sweet. Sweeter than my own sleep. I kept thinking of Lupita, oh sorry_Nakia. Those crazy fantasies kept me warm throughout the whole night or should i say, till now....
Never to mention the determination drawn from the movie. That feeling of me making it in life, the epic scenes from Black panther had triggered a sense of pride in me. i was proud to be a black kid_ oh sorry, an African kid.
Who doesn't love the conflict created between the two ''brothers''? I smile when I remember my brother can't beat me. I've always won any fight he had with me. Get the "any" part well.Whoever is in the shower triggers me to wake up. I really had to catch the bus even though it meant me going through the tormenting horrors that any boy has, taking a shower.
I meet my dad half-way to the shower through the corridor. "Morning dad,....?" I ask. "Stop dragging your feet on the ground. It's too ealry to be making noise for everyone in the house," comes his command as he walks away with a toothbrush in his hands. Well, I was only saying hi and then came a stopper. You see, my dad is not a chatty one. His silence whenever he is around us is enough to command plenty of respect and fear around the house. You never messed up when you know he's around. His gaze at you was enough to help digest some stubborn protein within a milli sec. I must have been inspired by my father because nobody messes up with me in school and I got all the girls because of the charming looks; like father, like son.
I whistle various conflicting songs all through my shower time.
Got out and did all I had to do and dashed off to school.this is my first article
