"How do you know my name?"

Shock registered on his handsome face as he came to an immediate halt. "How do I know your name?" He sputtered, "Eden, it's me. Taj. Your soulmate? The love of your life?".

"Taj..." rolling the name around on my tongue, "Taj, Taj... Taj", the more I say the name the more Taj's eyes light up in hope.

"Nope, coming up with donuts here, buddy." And just like that, the crestfallen puppy returns. Oh wow, the girl has done a number on this hunk. Poor guy.

"Edenosia Simpaltica, heiress to the elemental temple. High priestess of the Otherland. I have waited an eternity for your return. This is no time for your sense of humour." With a storm brewing in his eyes, Taj made a start towards me again.

Halting as soon as I raised my hand, "firstly, thanks for recognising I'm hilarious. Much appreciated. Secondly, my name is Eden Sims and I have no idea what you are talking about. All I know is that it's my birthday night, I was watching the full moon at my usual spot and next thing I know I'm being drawn into this oasis, kissed by an admittedly gorgeous male" at this, Taj reveals an obnoxious smirk.

Rolling my eyes, my tangent continues, "and now it is evidently not night time, I am not in my usual spot and said gorgeous male is trying to tell me I'm a high priestess to an alleged Otherland. I mean, I'm all for the alternate universes and wandering off with the fairies but I think my imagination has outdone itself here."

"Well, you are technically with a fairy right now..."

"Fairies was just an expression, I wasn't being serious... wait" I feel my jaw completely drop off. Did he just say? No, surely not. A fairy? I mean, "youcantseriouslybetryingtotellmeyouareafairy". Absolute shock.

Mr. gorgeous closes his eyes and takes a deep breath to calm himself. Him? Needing to calm himself? What about me. "I know this is a lot to take in. Please, come back to my residence so I can explain this all in a more private setting".

Well, I can't say this is the first time a beautiful male has escorted myself to his house. However, this is definitely the first time a drop dead gorgeous one has lead me to his alleged 'residence' through a shimmery portal.
