"Tee," Mazi began to beg as he cowered in fear. "Come on, bro don't do this to me. We brothers man, remember?" Not a tear fell from his face, he just winced in pain from the gunshot wound.

"Mazi, you done some fucked up shit to ppl dawg and I'm tired of being loyal and being treated like a sidekick. We been boys since grade school and you treat me like a do boy. Running all your errands, fucking all your second hand bitches, lying to ppl for you." He looked at Gianna.
More tension filled the empty spaces in the room.

"What'd he lie about?" Gianna asked.

"Nothing." Tee looked down in shame. "Nothing, Gigi. I don't wanna do this right now. Let's just get this over with." He pointed the gun at Mazi.

Gianna stepped in front of the gun. "You looked at me when you said he had you lying for ppl. What y'all lie to me about?" She demanded.

I stood, frozen, waiting for a response.

"Tee." Mazi said. "I know I coulda been a better friend, alright and I'm sorry. Bro." He held his knee and grimaced in pain. "I really am sorry." He assured Tee.

"Fuck all that!" Gianna yelled. "I wanna know what the fuck I was lied to about cuz I been nothin but loyal!"

"Have you?" I asked while rolling my eyes.

As crazy as this whole situation had become, it was like watching a movie in front of my very eyes. The drama was too good to be true.

"You're not in any debt, Gianna." Tee said while looking Mazi in the eye. "He knew if you thought you were in debt you'd continue to work for him."

The room was silent. Strangely quiet.

"Gianna." Mazi began.

"Do not." Gianna started to cry all over again. "I told you I had plans far beyond this. I wanted to leave town and pursue my music dreams. You knew that."

"I needed you here." Mazi justified.

"What about what I need?!" Gigi's voice cracked and broke apart as she yelled. She kicked him in his wounded knee and he yelled out in agony. "You know, it's crazy. All these niggas warned me about you. YOUR niggas. Told me to be careful and to watch my back." She held her head down in disappointment and turned to Tee. "Gimme the gun."

Tee looked at me. I nodded my head in approval. "You sure you wanna do that?" I asked her. Tee handed her the gun.

"So this is what it's gonna be, huh?" Mazi managed through the pain. His leg was stuck in a pool of blood. "If it means anything, I am sorry. To everyone in the room. I never meant to hurt any..."

POW! 💥

"Consider that your last lie." Gianna said and she dropped the gun at her feet. She ran into the bathroom, slamming the door behind her and soon after me and Tee couldn't help but hear her bawling behind the closed door.

Tee and I stood there and stared at Mazi's body. I'd been in character all night but at this point something had to give.

I ran outside and hurled right on the front lawn. I was so worried about plotting my own revenge I didn't know what was happening to me. How has I becoming a whole fucking mastermind behind a set up that was originally planned against me?
