Attending college is an experience to what the future holds. It's also an advantage to a successful life. I would have never expected or unexpect I would be standing in a university that I said I would be attending called my home away from home.
The house. It would be lonely since I wouldn't be there. I mean, my mom has the comfort of my brother while I'm gone, but he'll always be at work, helping pay some of the bills around here. Ever since my dad left, it's been a huge struggle with the bills, but my mom insisted my brother and I attend university, so we can build a life for ourselves and not have to worry about being in debt or poor.
My brother Sam and I are very close. We practically do most things together. We're only two years apart, but I'm older. When he heard I got into university, he was so excited like a child opening gifts on Christmas. My mom was happy too; she was practically in tears because she was so proud of me.
I strive for perfection, within reason. I was my high schools valedictorian. I played sports and I was in the band with my best friend, Noah. We've been friends since Kindergarten. We're practically family.
That wasn't till I met Stephen Grey...
