"Fear not. It called to you for a reason."

The words played over in his mind several times before he stood up. He noticed he stood several centimeters shorter than the botanist.

"What... Do you mean?" Doppo's brows furrowed, trying to comprehend what the other had said.

"You are the son of the spider lilies. They call to you, beckon your presence because they miss you." He spoke monotonously. The emerald hues of the botanist stayed focused on the redhead.

Doppo couldn't believe what he was hearing, no. Surely it must be a hoax? He closed his eyes taking a deep breath, soaking in the information. It was impossible to be born from a flower... Right?

"It's your duty to awaken and hone the powers that have been bestowed upon you, blessed by your family." The man had spoken again.

"What's your name...?" Doppo managed, confusion in his tone.

"A curious one?" He started, taking a step forward. "My name is Iruma Jyuto. I've been tending to these gardens for the past 7 years..."

Doppo blinked while looking around. There was no garden? That is, until the one named Jyuto panned his hand outward. A beautiful sea of flowers appeared before them, ranging from every color of the rainbow and ones that Doppo didn't even know existed.

"You're the real deal..." He breathed, his heart accelerating at the vast land around them.

The botanist managed a crooked smirk, before pushing up the spectacles that sat atop the bridge of his nose. Doppo peered over to him, now fully taking in his appearance.

Dark brown hair, cleanly slicked to the side. A pair of black, sleek frames. He wore robes patterned with green and brown and overall earthy tones. He wore a golden leaf hair piece, and a bracelet to match. A leather satchel hung loosely at his side with vibrant green vegetation poking out from the flap. His attire was so carefully crafted and looked so suited to who he was. Doppo was in awe.

Looking at himself, he only wore a cream peasant top, and brown high waisted pants. His boots were worn and filthy, and needed mending more than anything in the world. He sighed. There was no way he could ever be as cool. He bit at his lower lip in anxiety, his sights trained on the one who stood before him.

"How.. How do you know any of this...? How can someone like me..?" He was so confused, he could barely form coherent sentences.

"In due time you'll learn." Jyuto sighed, irritation prevalent as he just wanted the other to understand and accept.

"I don't think I will..." Doppo trailed off. He had never been confident in any ability he had, so why would he be with an ability he thought he didn't?

Jyuto could only sigh once more. He should have known that this would present trouble. After watching someone like this from afar for so long, it was painstakingly obvious that this wouldn't be easy.

"Come now, follow me." The brunette spoke coldly, turning on his heel to leave and lead.

Doppo stumbled behind him, trying to keep up but his legs weren't long enough to match the speed of the magician. He whined behind him, "Please slow down-!"

"No need. We're already here."

This man did not fail to amaze Doppo. Seemingly out of nowhere a cottage decorated in ivy and vines appeared. Wisteria hung from the eaves added a beautiful lavender accent to the cedar of the home. It smelled like a dreamy paradise to Doppo. It was so fresh and inviting, not to mention a sight for sore eyes.
