"Stars shinin' bright above you~"

She couldn't seem to shake this tune. That damn tune seemed to play over and over in her mind. Though it seemed impossible to place why or where it even came around. It was so engrained, though she never performed it live seeing as it wasn't her style to perform at a gig.

"Night breezes seem to whisper 'I love you~'"

Why wont it leave the young girls head? She hasnt been part of a girl group since... ever. So why was it now coming around? Not to mention where the hell she was. It's so dark she couldn't even see the hand placed in front of her face. Her eyes weren't adjusting and it smelt foul, like that of a rotting animal on a hot summer's day. It was so warm... like a boiling bath. The kind where one can see the steam rising, the skin turning red, sinking deeper. She could tell she wasn't in a bath though so why the hell was it so hot and dark? Then, it felt like falling.

The air passing through the dress as it felt like she couldn't grab onto anything, simply grabbing at air. It seemed hopeless. She simply let her body sink into the feeling before feeling something beneath her, making her chest tighten with a gasp. It felt pokey yet soft as she felt at the ground beneath her, finding it to be grass. She pulled an individual sliver of the earth as she could finally open her eyes to see a red sky, followed with the design of an upside down pentagram. Her brows furrowing as she searched the sky, as if it could possibly give the answer to what she was looking for, the heat growing to near unbearable. Though this heat was growing particularly in her chest and upon her neck.

Rubbing at her eyes as she sat up, stretching her arms to hear various cracks and pops. A small groan escaping her mouth as she soon scratched her... ears? It felt as though she was scratching the base of animal ears atop her head and tried to look up to see what could possibly be on her head. Though it was hard without a mirror. Shifting to her knees and soon onto her feet she looked around to try to figure out where she was. Standing amongst a field as red grass and wilting trees were surrounding the female. Why was everything so unnaturally colored? This couldn't be earth, theres no way in... Hell?

"Oh my god... I'm in hell... Th-That's not possible!! I-I havent died!" She exclaimed, head spinning as she searched for any type of explanation. Unless...

"Birds singin' in the sycamore tree~"

That tune... She was walking home that night after a gig. It was the night the so called axeman requested jazz to be blasted in New Orleans, in which she wasn't home. Walking on the street from her performance, without the aid of the radio or a live jazz band. She hadn't thought about that, the jazz still blasted though she thought she was alone. She hadn't believed it was truly the axeman since his reign of terror had end years earlier, before she was even born.

"Excuse me ma'am, but it's dangerous to be on the street this late. Especially with the axeman on the loose." A large figure warned her, it was that of a man. She had been wearing a blue a-line dress decorated with small white flowers along with a red ribbon tight around her waist as her hair was pinned up in large curls. Standing in heels, she came to a stop as she turned to the man, in his hand he held an instrument case.

"I'll be fine sir but thank you." She kept her reply short and sweet as she stayed as far away as the space had previously allowed, though he slowly closed the gap. Her bright seafoam green eyes gazing up at him as he stood near a foot taller with a wide figure.

"I always loved the saxaphone, do you know one of the most common nicknames for such an instrument dear?" His voice seemed to purr to her as she swallowed shakily, feeling her heart beat starting to pound wildly as she stepped back slightly to create distance and space. That tone was enough to chill anyone to the core as she held her arms tightly to warm herself.

"Well miss, it's called an axe." He seemed to say effortlessly before there was a slight glimmer in the moonlight which seemed to fade with a cloud that passed over. All that could be heard next was a bloody scream, one that could rival a child's scream in the face of fear as her green orbs watched the axe swing down and strike her body. Crumbling to the ground, her body soon fading life as she wasn't lively for the next seven strikes to her body. A bloody mess ensuing with her chest and a slit throat followed, ensuring a final death.

"Dream a little dream of me~"
