Once she had finally calmed herself, taking deep breaths and walking through this dead forest. She had reached what seemed to be a chaotic city scape, other animal like creatures running about or what she had to guess were other demons. Drug machines, clubs, and different places of business that seemed to either be struggling or thriving. Anything related to items of sin seemed to be bustling and working well here in hell. Just mentioning the word gave her chills in this warm climent.
"God, I don't think I can get used to saying that." She said weakly as someone slammed into her shoulder, her eyes glaring at the demon.
"Watch where you're goin' whore!" The demon yelled at her as she snarled before continuing her walk to find... well to find anything that would help explain what to do next. It's like her whole life had been wiped clean and she had to start from scratch in the worst place ever. She had passed a window and she had to stop, getting some sort of idea of what she looked like now.
Her seafoam green eyes had a slight glow to them and her previously light brown hair was now a midnight black. Her facial features were similar but her honey skin now a muted gray, making her feel a little empty, her warm appearance made her feel like everybody's dream girl. Now she felt a little out of place. Though her eyes traveled to the sleek black fox ears. Her carefully arched brow raised confused at her appearance, her eyes soon traveling to her outfit. She wore a royal blue dress decorated with white polka dots. A black lace choker adorning her neck in the spot where it burned. Her shoes, a pair of white booties that had a chunky brown heel.
"Well, that's a new look for me. Ugh... Get over it Nyx. You've looked worse before." She muttered to herself as she snapped out of her confused haze, realizing someone was staring at her through the window she gazed into. She quickly started to scurry off, the ripped hem of her dress complimented the distressed bow around her waist, accenting her near perfect form. She walked down the street watching the bodies pass her, some wore clothing similar to hers, though many wore odd clothing that seemed so... revealing or simply weird.
Her feet led her to a shop window where many were huddled around the TVs playing the local news, named 666 news. How fitting. There was a young lady singing, rather proudly of a hotel. It was named the Happy Hotel where sinners would be rehabilitated, maybe to get into heaven? Though the broadcast seemed to fluctuate with what seemed to be radio static. She gazed at the tv confused as the picture didnt seem to be affected by the interference though she wasn't going to question it much. Look where she was, it wasn't entirely factual either.
Maybe this hotel wasn't such a bad idea that this woman, Charlie was going on about. Though the things she had done in her past, she wasn't ashamed or remorseful of. Those men had it coming after what they had done, she wasn't going to apologize. Gazing back at the TV though, she watched what was called a turf war was going on between a man named Sir Pentious which looked like a snake and a woman named Cherri Bomb. She made Nyx gaze at the tv with confusion. This woman only had one eye!
Dusting her dress a little, she found pockets sewn into her dress which baffled her slightly. Finding cigarettes in her pocket she looked in her pockets for a light only to find none. She sighed softly with the item between her lips, only to find it lit as her gazed over slightly to find a man who had a lighter.
"Hey Sugar, new 'round here?" A male cooed at her making her roll her eyes with a deep puff of her cig. She leaned against the wall with a small wave as if to brush him off.
"Get lost creep. Thank you for the light, but I dont need ya." She responded coldly as she started making her walk to explore this world a little more. A porn studio, multiple bars and night clubs, followed with drug shops and actual "normal" stores for necessities. She sighed softly as she was burning through her cigarette rather quickly, a habit she developed for when nerves were high. She stomped out the end, though fires here must not be uncommon with all the chaotic souls running around. Everything seemed so confusing here, there were new items floating around that she couldn't understand. She passed a rather sketchy looking hotel which she entered, needing somewhere to stay as she could tell night was approaching.
A male was slouched over the desk, snoring away as it appeared no one was checked into the hotel with all the keys on the wall. She had a feeling money would be involved to rent a room so she snuck behind the desk, carefully pulling a key off the wall and quietly sneaking onto the floor related to the key number. Unlocking the door to reveal a grimy bed with a window overlooking hell, she went to the sill. Everything was a light haze of red as she sighed softly, she couldn't say she loved her life back on earth but she sure didnt want this fate. She knew she didnt deserve heaven but she didnt think hell was even real. She decided to strip the comforter along with the sheets, each layer more dirty and ruined then the last. The bed covered with red splotches. She sighed as she leaned against the wall, sliding down to sit. Her legs out in front of her as she tried to relax, though she was on edge with the safety of this hotel. She couldn't find any other conclusion than what she had seen on the television.
"I can't figure this out on my own. I'll have to go to that 'Happy Hotel'. Maybe that Charlie girl would be able to help me."
