2 months later:

"Well Mr. Wilson, your test results are in." Dr. Ken said. "What's the prognosis?" Scott asked. Dr. Ken hesitated, then smiled. "Thanks to the generous donation of her kidney by your girlfriend Sugar Motta, it is with great pleasure that I say: You are officially cancer-free." Scott's face brightened. "Thank you so much." Scott said shaking the doctor's hand. Scott signed the release forms, then walked out of the hospital with a swagger, then began to sing:

Look at what's happened to me
I can't believe it myself
Suddenly I'm up on top of the world
It should have been somebody else

Believe it or not, I'm walking on air
I never thought I could feel so free
Flying away on a wing and a prayer
Who could it be?
Believe it or not, It's just me

Just like the light of a new day
It hit me from out of the blue
Breaking me out of the spell I was in
Making all of my wishes come true

Believe it or not, I'm walking on air
I never thought I could feel so free
Flying away on a wing and a prayer
Who could it be?
Believe it or not, It's just me

Who could it be?
Believe it or not, It's just me!!!

Scott walked out to find Sugar in the parking lot. "So?" She asked. "It's official, I'm cancer free!" Scott said with a huge smile on his face. "Yes!" Sugar said as she smiled. "Thank you, for saving my life." Scott said. "Thank you for being in it." Sugar replied. The two embraced happily. "We have to tell the Glee club the great news." Sugar exclaimed. "We will, first thing at practice. First, we're gonna celebrate, now that I'm cancer free!" Scott replied. With that, they both got into Scott's car as a song came on the radio. Scott began to sing along to it:

Do you see what I see
A rainbow shining over us
In the middle of a hopeless storm, oh

Sometimes I'm blinded by my feelings
And I can't see beyond my troubled mind
Afraid of what I'll find, the story of our lives
But there's tomorrow

'Cause I'm free, I'm free
And things are only as important as I want them to be
We'll have a breath of sunshine
When the rain goes away I pray, I pray, yeah

Do you need a friend right now
On the road that you're going to
If you get lost just call me, I'll be there
Yes I'll be right there

'Cause though I may not have the answers
At least I know what I'm looking for
Yes, I can do without sorrow
There's a day after tomorrow
So I'm leaving it behind

I'm free, I'm free
Things are only as important as I want them to be
We'll have a breath of sunshine
When the rain goes away I pray, I pray

I'm free, I'm free
Things are only as important as I want them to be
We'll have a breath of sunshine
When the rain goes away I pray, I pray, baby

And if you want to share my dreams
Well all you have to do is say it, say it
Let me hear you loud and clear
'Cause I need you if you wanna be, if you wanna be

Do you see what I see
A rainbow shining over us
In the middle of a hopeless storm
We'll be safe and warm

I'm free, I'm free
Things are only as important as I want them to be
We'll have a breath of sunshine
When the rain goes away I pray, I pray

I'm free, I'm free
Things are only as important as I want them to be
We'll have a breath of sunshine
When the rain goes away I pray, I pray!!
