Fang opened his eyes towards some harsh light. He rubbed the painful part of his head as he sat up straight. ''Aww. What happened?'' ''We got caught. I guess after the first ambush we got followed somehow or they just found us, but we are now in a cell again. Fang looked at the three walls and the bars before him. ''Well I must say. You did quite a job to outsmart us for quite a while. But maybe taking along this weasel wasn't your best plan, little wolf girl.'' ''Shut up. Why do you care anyway. You got me, let him go.'' ''Maybe I will. That depends on if he is capable of killing you himself. Fang his eyes widened. ''Kill her?'' ''Yes, kill her and you are free. I even give you a reward for doing the dirty job for me.'' Fang grinned. ''How much is that reward?'' ''Fifty kilo's of sapphires. Pure ones. That will give a lot of money when you sell them.'' ''Hmmm. I need to think about that. But that is indeed a good offer. And I barely know this annoying girl anyway.'' ''I see, she just dragged you in.'' The voice finally got a face as the man finally took a few steps forward into the light. The man was a rat to be exact. A dirty grey rat, who didn't properly shave. He was wearing a nice black tuxedo. Very expensive looking. He grinned. ''Well I give you a few hours to think on how you will kill her. Will you make it quick? Or a nice play of torture?'' He left the room laughing. Tiger Wolf started to look very frightened. Fang looked her way and felt his side noting his gun was still there. ''Don't worry. Whatever he offers is nothing compared to all the ruins I will be able to find with you. And all that gold.'' He grinned. ''Besides, I can rob this guy anytime.'' Tiger Wolf chuckled and smiled after. ''Any ideas then on how we will get out?'' ''You probably didn't bring any explosives I guess?'' ''Not exactly, but we might be able to make something out of his stuff.'' She pointed to all the science stuff displayed on the desk in front of their cell. ''I thought you said he was very highly dangerous. Which criminal would leave stuff behind to help his prisoners escape?'' ''There must be something he is thinking of. But I rather take that change than being killed on the spot over a few minutes.'' ''Yeah I must agree on that.'' Fang took the knife out of his hat and started to poke in the lock until it gave in. He pushed the door open and waved at Tiger Wolf. ''Do your magic my lady.'' As he made a short bow. She walked by shaking her head. ''Don't start to joke around weasel bandit.'' He chuckled. Tiger Wolf quickly started to assemble an explosive strong enough to blow them out. ''Make two just in case.'' Fang said as he explored the room. And so she did. Fang knocked on the walls in hopes that he would hear a difference. He walked back at the right wall. ''This one should be the right one. Tiger Wolf placed it. ''I hope you are right.'' They both covered their face just in time as the explosive went off. It was a long hallway and they quickly ran through it. Going through a couple of doors until they finally reached the outside. Fang looked around and pointed to a green valley. ''Lets hope that is Butterfly Falls.'' He grabbed Tiger Wolf by the wrist and started to run. She almost stumbled a couple of times as he didn't look back to see if she was actually keeping up. It took a while before they reached the green valley and Tiger Wolf set out a sigh of relieve. Fang on the other hand looked up the motorcycle and looked up at her. ''Do you actually still have the emerald?'' ''Oh yeah. Don't worry. He can tear me apart all he want, but he will never get the emerald from me.'' ''Hmpf.'' He smiled. ''Hop on.'' He started the engine and Tiger Wolf quickly went on. And off they went, leaving Butterfly Falls behind. ''But Fang, what about your valuables? For money.'' ''I can come back later for them. I know the location now. It is better if I don't overload the motor anymore. I already got you on the back.'' ''Hey!'' She punched his back, but not too hard. As Fang just laughed it off.

They decided to make a break at a village close by. Tiger Wolf gave Fang a strict look. ''Be a good boy for now ok? We need to rest. Not a wild chase game with us being the ones that get chased.'' Fang rolled his eyes. ''I mean it weasel boy.'' ''Fine, I'll be a good boy. Madam.'' Tiger Wolf shook her head and left. Fang took his free time looking around the market of the small village. A lot of fresh food and vegetables. Some raw meat and fish. But most important to Fang, beautiful jewellery, stones, antiques and other things that could be sold for a high price. ''Why did I say yes?'' He really had to restrict himself to not steal anything. He took a deep breath and looked up at the sky. The stars were gently starting to show themselves on the now pink, purple and blue sky. He found himself a quiet spot where he could lay down in the grass and look up. He could still see some clouds passing by here and there. But as the sun went down, the harder you could see them and the pink and purple colours in the sky faded. The stars on the other hand became brighter and joined by a beautiful halve moon. The people on the market started to clean up and it didn't take long, but they were gone pretty fast. The smell of every house its cooking made Fang his stomach urge for food. But he had to wait as Tiger Wolf had the bag with all their supplies. He also started to smell hints of fire wood that the families burned indoor for warmth. ''Guess this isn't much of a wealthy village.'' Is what he said to himself. The streets became almost perfectly silent. Here and there you could hear a few footsteps of people going out for dinner or a late night shift. Suddenly Tiger Wolf bent her face over his. ''I'm back and I got us a place to stay. Inside, so no camping tonight.'' She grabbed Fang by the arm and pulled him up and along. She dragged him a couple of blocks, until she stopped at, what appears to be, the one and only hotel here. 'Xinia Lodge' is what the board say on the front. Tiger Wolf was already up the stairs at the door as she turned. ''Are coming? Or do I need to drag you to our room.'' ''Our room?'' ''Yes, we are sharing. It is cheaper. Unless you prefer no warm dinner.'' He just went up the stairs and followed her to the restaurant. A hostess guided them to a table for two. The table was dressed with white cloths. One was plain and the other was full with patterns. On top stood a candle and a tray with salt, pepper and sugar. The chairs were coated in velvet red as the floor had a very light brown colour of stones. They both sat down and the waitress gave them a menu. ''You can choose all you want. It's all in the package.'' Is what Tiger Wolf said before hiding after the menu again. Fang looked around the menu. His eyes fell on the goulash soup, fried chicken with potato and carrot slices and a beautiful fruit sorbet as dessert. Their order was taken and both got a drink. Fang got himself a nice glass of whisky as for Tiger Wolf, she just had a simple watermelon soda. Tiger Wolf was leaning on the table as they waited. Fang looked around, but was more amused by her bored face. ''I didn't expected you to be very impatient.'' ''Who says I am inpatient?'' ''Your face.'' She pouted and looked away. ''Oh yeah, before I forget.'' She said while turning her eyes back on him. ''Since you are drinking whisky.'' Fang looked a bit questionable. ''Don't try anything funny. Got it?'' ''Me? With you? I rather prefer a cuter, more seductive woman.'' He gazed at the lady who sat at the bar. She had long red hair and the most whitest fur in the world. She was wearing a green dress with black sandal alike shoes. Tiger Wolf kicked Fang as hard as she could against his leg. ''How dare you. One, don't insult me. Two, staring is not polite. Behave or I'll make sure you will be eating outside and that is exactly where you will be sleeping too. ''You sound jealous. You have a liking for me? Is that why you want me to tag along?'' He grinned as he spoke and gave her the 'I found out your secret' look. ''No. Why would I want a filthy weasel, who only likes bimbo bar girls with tons of make-up? And I only chose you as the others in that prison where either no chance of making a deal, or either they aren't that good.'' She crossed her arms in anger. Fang wanted to say something back, but the waitress was there with their food. Tiger Wolf had no eye for him after. She was just looking at her food as she ate. So did Fang. Not a word was spoken, not even in their hotel room. Tiger Wolf just quickly went to bed and shoved one pillow onto the couch. Fang just sat down next to it and stared out of the window. After a while he turned and noticed that Tiger Wolf already had fallen asleep. Fang sighted and turned off the lights.
