Chapter 20 the battle of the furies

After making through inside of Darkseid Fortress, the Justice League tried to find Darkseid and save Mister Miracle.

Cyborg: I think we are getting closer here.

Wonder Woman: how long until Darkseid fired his weapon again?

Batman: an hour and a half.

Flash: say why not I just run and find both thing that we are looking for?

Barda: bad idea.

Flash: why not?

Cyborg: Barda is right, there are tons of traps here. If we don't move careful you might be dead. Or hurt someone.

Flash: ok good to know.

Then as our heroes walked to a big area. And that's when Barda get little nervous.

Batman: Barda what's happening?

Metamorpho: what's not like more Parademons are going attack us, right?

Barda: no... something far worse than that.

Then as our Heroes heard something. then all of our heroes got into two circles and prepare to defend themselves. Then they heard a laughter. The laughter got closer and then. A woman showed up and said this.

Mad Harriet: well if it isn't the traitor Barda! And she brought victims for us!

That when four more showed up, eager to kill someone.

Steel: friends of yours?

Barda: hardly, I used to be they combat leader. The Female Furies. They hold a bit of a grudge.

: by the will of Darkseid... we will kill you all.

Then Superman was about to charge at them but that when the walls flip and had guns that fired Krypton lasers. Lucky Wonder Woman got in just in time to defend him.

Superman: they don't exactly fight fair hey.

Wonder Woman: you can say that again.

Then as the Flash runs and deals with . Lashina mange to wrap Flash legs and swing him to a wall.

Flash: ow.

Batman was then dodging Stompa and her attacks. Batman then threw few of his Batrangs and Stompa felt nothing form that.

Stompa: Ha! Tickles.

Then Green Lantern created a cage and trap her.

Batman: we are just wasting our time here!

John Stewart: Batman right. Every second passes America will be ended up like Europe.

Vixen: so how do we pass these weirdos anyway?

Cyborg: I'll quickly open a path.

Green Arrow then fired some arrows that turn into boxing gloves and tried to hit Stompa. But Stompa was too tough of that.

Green Arrow: dam. That normally works.

Stompa: I'm going to enjoy stomping your brains out.

Then as Stompa was charging towards Green Arrow while Green Arrow fired some of his arrows to slow her down. Superman stop her by using his hand then flick her with a finger which send her flying towards a wall.

Green Arrow: show off.

Elsewhere Green Lantern fired laser beams from his ring and Mad Harriet but she kept dodging. Then Lashina was able to wrap her weapon all over Green Lantern arm and then break it. Green Lantern was screaming in pain and he could not use his ring in battle.
