Melody's POV:

I spent the next few days avoiding Mira, because all she'd do is give me dirty looks or snide remarks, about how I don't belong. I have been spending most of my time out in the woods in the trees, or in Justin and I's room, just to avoid her.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Relaxing in a tree laying on a branch, I am cleaning my fur of blood from a kill I just ate, what I didn't finish, I drug up into the tree, to save for later.

"The lady said she'd be out here somewhere," I hear a male say. "Did she explain what she looked like," another male says. "No but she did say she was a leopard," the first male says.

"She doesn't belong this far away from home, she was probably someone's pet and was released," the second says.

"Look it's a recent kill," one of the male's says, looking up into the tree seeing ny deer. "She won't be far, keep looking," they say together, searching for me in the trees.

I quickly switch trees and leap to the ground, as I do, I hear a gun shot, and something peirce my back leg. " Got her, don't lose track of her," they say.

"It's a trace dart, we won't," they say. I stumble through the woods, as the medicine in the dart starts to take affect, on me.

When I can no longer move, I fall onto my side, growling and hissing as they approach me. "She is a beautiful cat," the one male says. "Just as the lady said," the other says.

I hiss at them, but unfortunately they are still far enough away so I can't hit them with my claws. I continue to growl and hiss, as my vision begins to blur.

"She'll be out soon, then we can transport her," a male says. I see their clothes, and they are in wildlife rescue gear.

"Don't worry girl, we'll return you back to where you belong, soon enough," one says, just before everything turns black.

When I wake up, I am in a travel cage, and the same two males are in the front talking as one is driving.

A phone rings and one guy answers it, "yes mam, we captured the leopard, your property and children are safe now," the male says. "She'll be released in her home country, where she's needed, as leopard's are an endangered cat," he says.

"Yes mam, thank you mam," he says before hanging up the phone. He looks back at me, and I growl at him. "You can't do anything to us in their girl," he says, "so growl all you want," he smiles.

"Tyrese, quit teasing her, she's already stressed enough," the driver says. "I'm glad that she is of good weight, for release," he says.

I look out the window and see as we pull up to the airport. I try everything I can to escape, without shifting but to no avail. I begin yowling and hissing, wanting to be freed from the cage.

They pull to a stop and get out. Using two poles they remive me and my cage, the poles allowing them to carry my cage safely and them to stay out of my reach.

I am soon loaded onto a plane, and they leave, as the doors to the plane close, leaving me in complete darkness. I lay down, and soon fall asleep, and dream of Justin.
