Chapter 1: Shailene

I was quite nervous to be perfectly honest. It was me and Theo's kiss scene, and I didn't want it to be awkward. I mean, this is my job, and I'll have to do a good job won't I? I see Theo before we get ready, but he says nothing.
I make my way on set. There is a lot of crew. It shouldn't be that bad, I've had plenty of kissing scenes before! Why am I so nervous? I don't think anyone has noticed, I hope.
Everyone gets into place and i rack my brains together to remember my lines. I clear my head and say my lines, really getting into the character.
At least he has to lean in first. He takes my waist and pulls me forward, pressing his mouth against mine. I know this is acting but it's so hard not to believe it's real. I'm not even sure if I want it to be real, but it's something about this kiss which really gives me butterflies.
I think we have held on too long, or at least it seems like ages until Neil shouts "Cut!"
Theo just stands there, and I see the corners of his lips are slightly turned up, that cute little smirk he does.
"Good work," he says, back in his soothing British accent.
"You too," I smile, tilting my head to the side a bit. He looks down, and we pause for a while. Who knew it would be this awkward afterwards? Oh well it will wear off soon. For now I just go back to my dressing room and sit down. I try and figure out if that kiss maybe wasn't for the cameras, if it was for us. But then I frown to myself and think how ridiculous it sounds. Of course he couldn't think of me like that. This is work, it has to be professional.
Or does it?
