I was made on November the 8th, I do not know the year though. The only reason I even know the day is because thats what Dr. Colshack called me.
Dr. Colshack was the man who created me. The first thing I remember is waking up in his laboratory, covered in this strange liquidy stuff. Dr. Colshack was there with a wide smile on his face, he held a white towel in his hands. He dried me off and put me in a plain white dress, then he started to do these wierd little experiments. He would test the flexibility of all of my joints, and hooked me up to these strange machines. It was all very confusing and scary, but I wasn't really that scared. Dr. Colshack spoke to me the entire time, although I didn't understand his words, I found his voice calming. In fact I found everything about him calming, the way he walked, the way he moved, the way he would pat my head after he finished one of his tests. He just seemed to have a calming effect on me, I felt like everything was okay as long as he was there. I later learned that I had looked up to Dr. Colshack as a father figure.
After he had finished all of his he took me to what would be my own bedroom for a while. It was a plain white room with nothing but a single plain white bed. Dr. Colshack left me in there and locked the door after leaving, only causing me to become extremely confused. I wasn't even sure what the bed was for yet, and somehow I ended up tearing it. Inside of it was this soft white stuff, which I found was quite fun to play with. I ended up totally destroying my bed as I tore the stuffing out and played with it. When Dr. Colshack came back he was carrying a tray full of food, which I ate happily as he cleaned up my mess. Afterwards he left and took the tray with him, he then brought back a blanket ant left once again. I fell asleep waiting for him to come back.
The next morning I woke up to Dr. Colshack carrying a tray full of food once again. This food was different than the last, it was liquidy and I couldn't eat it with my hands. Dr. Colshack taught me that it was called soup, and he told me how to use a spoon. I remember that it was rather hard to figure out and it made me frustrated, I ended up just drinking the soup.
After I ate Dr. Colshack brought me to a new place. It was a large open area filled with plants. The roof was a foggy class, and was extremely high. I remember looking around in awe, just taking in my surroundings. Dr. Colshack talked alot about stuff I didn't understand, but I did learn the word tree. After I looked around for a while he took me to a room that was right next to the plant area. In there he did some more experiments and tests, before taking me back to my white room. When I got back to my room there was a new bed, and it looked exactly the same as before. I used to think that the room reset itself after I left it.
For a while we did the same things over and over, eventually I began to understand what Dr. Colshack was saying. He told me that the plants inside the building were only small and boring compared to what they were in the past. He said that something called war had destroyed everything, and it was almost impossible outside. He told me that he was trying to find a way so that we could live in the harsh enviroment outside rather easily. He also said that I wasn't human.
For some reason the Idea that I wasn't human like Dr. Colshack bothered me. I was different from him, I wasn't natural. I was like the tree, something that was just plain and boring compared to the real thing. I later learned that I wasn't only man made, but that I was defective.
It was on a normal day that I woke up before Dr. Colshack brought me food. This was strange since I never ever do that, it was also strange that my head was hurting terribly. I got out of my bed and headed towards the door, only I didn't make it. Almost as soon as I stood up my eyesight blurred and I bent over. Something warm started flowing from my nose, i place my hand on it and saw that it was blood. I suddenly felt sick, I puked. I wasn't even sure what puking was at that time but I knew something was, especially when what came out was not food, but blood.
There was blood all over my white room. My dress was covered in a dark sticky mess and everything smelled. I puked again, there was more blood, my nose was still bleeding, I was terrified. When the door opened I immedietly felt relieved, Dr. Colshack was here now, I was going to be safe. However the person who entered the room was not the Dr. Colshack I knew, he did not wear his normal gentle smile or carry a relaxing atmosphere. He looked dissapointed, mad, and frustrated, like I was doing something wrong.
I looked at him begging for help, but he only stood there, looking at me like I was a broken object. He didn't even say anything, he didn't have to. I could tell by the way he was looking at me. He only sighed, turned and left the room, locking the door like always. I was broken, useless. I wasn't needed anymore and he didn't care about me.
I never saw Dr. Colshack again
