A Fight for Freedom

Chapter five

Rea looked at the ocean. The place where she always wanted to be, under water to meet the SeaWings for once. Now, Omnia was taking them there. 

"Why here! I had to escape this place! Now I'm back! Please don't let me go in the water!" Risingtide begging Omnia looked weird, first of all, Rea did start to have a crush on Omnia, but then, she had one of Risingtide too. I'll decide when I figure out this whole problem. Right now, I'm crushing on Omnia more. Rea thought. She couldn't decide right now and say 'Omnia be my girlfriend!' no. That was just wrong.

"We are not going into the ocean! Plus, Rea can't breathe water! So why beg?" Omnia tried to back kick Risingtide, but he dodged.

"If there anything to eat here?" Rea asked noticing no fish in the sea.

"No always." Risingtide said looking down in the sea beside Rea. "There's usually no fish in the dry season, which is now, they go to the bottom of the sea instead."

"Cool, I guess." Rea said was clawing at the water, wondering if all the fish go to the bottom. 

"Rea, I still think we should be finding a place with food, and not testing out a place without food." Omnia said laughing.

This is what I want if I have a girlfriend, someone who can make me laugh and someone smart I guess... Rea needed to get back to the mission. "Sure, let's do that." Rea said, while walking into a forest.

"Ok, guess we're going there." Risingtide said walking up to Rea. Followed up by Rea's laugh.

"If you want Cloudy back, follow me." Rea winked at Risingtide and Omnia and ran I tot he forest.

Rea ran and ran into the forest, until she couldn't hear the voice of her friends. 

Really? Can't they catch up to me? Rea thought. She turned around to see an IceWing, younger than her for sure, but just a few days.

"Who are you?" said the IceWing, holding a cage with some sort of animal.

"Ugh, why are there so many branches?" Risingtide came out from the trees.

"It's a forest! What do you expect?" Omnia shouted coming behind Risingtide. "I could have come out easier! If your butt wasn't in the way!" Omnia snapped at Risingtide.

Rea laughed, surely it wasn't a joke, but it was funny. "I think we should plan out our plan. now." Rea winked at the both of them, then she remember the IceWing in front of her.

"WHAT PLAN!?" he roared, then it looked like he didn't want to stand there anymore and left.

"What was he doing there?" Omnia asked watching him stomp into the forest. "He didn't even greet us like a gentlemen. R-U-D-E!." Omnia clawed at the place he was just at.

"Not even a name?" Risingtide looked at Rea.

"Nope, not even a fake name. If I know IceWings, they never tell there names until you boss them around." Rea turned around on them, she didn't really want to talk about IceWings right now.

"Ok, tell us when you want to talk about that IceWing again." Omnia said walking up to her. Was she reading her mind?

"Are you reading my minds Omnia?" Rea asked turning to Omnia's golden eyes.

"Well, um. I don't know how to explain this, but um... no, I'm not, I can only read it sometimes, like once in a while I can start reading minds. It's just for one second." Omnia looked uneasily in Rea's eyes. Rea garbed her talon.

"You don't have to be afraid of me." Rea said with a warm smile on her face, she let go of Omnia's talon. "But the IceWings, should be VERY afraid of this master mind child." Rea joked.

"Ha ha" Omnia sad and nudged Rea in the side. "Your not that scary, but you are cute."

"Why are we in a forest again?" Risingtide asked. He looked around and then looked like he suddenly remembered. "Oh, Cloudy. We need to find out soon." Risingtide looked into Rea's eyes.

"We really do..." Rea looked into the sky, and she felt tears running down her cheeks. Cloudy was her first friend ever since Rea was three and Cloudy was two. 

"We should plan it out more." Omnia said. Her voice had a scared tone in it. "It's getting dark. We should really get to sleep."

"I agree with Omnia." Risingtide went over by a tree and laying down by it. His royal pattern glowing lightly in the dark with the two moons in the sky. The third one was barely there. 

"What.." Rea put a talon over Omnia's mouth.

"Get a good night's sleep Omnia. You need it. Also you're parent do too." Rea looked Omnia I thought he eyes. Her eyes looked like stars. 

Omnia pushed Rea's talon off. " I know you want Cloudy, but the plan is... wh-what's that sound?" Behind them was a dark figure that blended in with the night, but it wasn't a NightWing, it's eyes were too dark to be one for sure, but wasn't a scavenger.

"It's a NightWing SandWing hybrid." Rea said shaking.
