The Ten years of my Life

Second grade

This grade was like heaven. Me and Fatima was super best friends, and I wasn't shy as much anymore. I got two more best friends named Mia and Deven we all hanged out at recess. Yes I'm still at New Burlington. The teacher was Mrs. Amann. This grade I learned and met a lot of new people. There was this popular game at recess where you shoot a basketball in a bucket and it has a open socket where the ball falls out and each was a number, we all stood next to one hoping it would fall into our sockets. Anyway daycare was fun new people started to come, but the was an evil guy(dun,dun,dun) and his name was Rico and he always pinched me. It was very weird but he does it all the time, most of the time it didn't hurt. Anyway later into second grade the teacher started to creep us out, unfortunately I don't remember what she did. I got in trouble often in the midst of the year, but all of that ended at the ending of the year. I was a angel. We had these things called Amann bucks and you could buy a prize, it was cool. I saved up to 60 bucks and it was a big deal back them, I won the coolest prize which was a lighting yo-yo!!! Oh I remember a cool thing we did when we wrote stories because we wrote a lot in second grade to, we had these things that we have to put on our heads for certain things. Like if we was done and we was ready to "conference" which mean we need to establish with the teacher about our story; we see what needs to be corrected, like grammar, or spelling errors. There is a another type which is called "Brainstorm", you would wear this if you was thinking of an idea of your story. At the ending of the school year was horrible. There was bad news coming in hot. So this was my last year in New Burlington, they was going to shut it down because they got better schools. I was very sad, because I knew that I wasn't going to see a lot of my friends. So the last week of school they teacher announced more about this. She was telling the students based on there address of what school your going to. I knew Fatima was going to move and so as Mia and Deven. It's like we all been ripped apart. New Burlington was great because we had a varieties of events and activities. I notice we had less have that each year, it's probably because of the school's budget.
