They walked to class conversating with one another. Midoriya was chatting to Kirishima, while Katsuki was getting teased by the rest of his friends.
"A-Ah! Kacchan, slow down~" Mina teased as Katsuki continued to grow red with embarrassment.
"Kacchan, you're so strong! I wish I was as big and manly as you~." Kaminari chimed in as he started making kissy faces.
"Shut the bloody fucking hell up." Katsuki replied through gritted teeth. He was nearing his boiling point and blowing up everyone.
"Faster Kacchan! I'm close!" Mina continued as she made lewd faces. Katsuki tried to hide how aroused he was getting. He sped up his pace, hoping to get away from his lewd friends.
"H-Hey! Kacchan! Wait up!" Midoriya shouted after his childhood friend, running to catch up to the raging ash blonde.
"Are you excited for the festival? I sure am!" Midoriya continued, practically bouncing.
"Todoroki told me it was going to be like a carnival! I hope there's lots of rides!" He was giddy with excitement. Katsuki loved they way Midoriya looked when he was excited, like a small green puppy bouncing after his chew toy.
"I guess." Katsuki replied, trying not to look at his crush.
"Carnivals aren't really my thing."
"That's not true, Kacchan. I remember when we where little, we would go to the country fair every year. You loved that one caterpillar ride that went up and down. I thought it was scary!" Midoriya laughed, making up and down motions with his arms to simulate the ride.
"Maybe, but that was thirteen years ago, dick wad. We're eighteen. Rides are for babies, and I am NOT a baby." Katsuki argued. He sounded gruffer than he intended to. He could see the slight hurt in Midoriya's eyes. Katsuki felt a slight twinge of guilt rise from his stomach. Midoriya tensed up and looked forward.
"If you didn't want me here, Katsuki, you could've just said so." Midoriya's voice was bland and shaky. Katsuki was surprised that Midoriya used his name, and not 'Kacchan'. Midoriya started walking ahead, when Katsuki caught him just in time by grabbing his hand.
Surprised, Midoriya turned around to find a flustered Katsuki holding his hand. Katsuki looked down, practically as red as Kirishima's hair, and said,
"Geez, you damn nerd. I never said you had to leave. Ugh, you're such a fucking Deku." Midoriya couldn't help but smile at the somewhat complement from his hostile friend. It wasn't much, but coming from Katsuki to him, that was pretty big.
"Wow, thanks Kacchan! I didn't know you liked me!" Midoriya smiled, oblivious to his wording choice.
"F-Fucking hell! I d-don't like you, damn nerd! Who said I l-liked you?! KIRISHIMA!!" Katsuki practically toppled over Kirishima as he rammed into his rock solid friend.
"Damn you, shitty hair! Did you tell Deku?!" Katsuki was punching the rock of a man, when realization spread throughout Midoriya's face.
"N-Not like that! I meant 'like' as in friends! You'd never like like me, Kacchan! I'm sorry!" Midoriya franticly tried to explain to Katsuki as Mina, Kirishima, Kaminari and Sero all gave Katsuki the look. The look was embarrassing. The, 'Oh, yeah. You definitely DON'T like him' kind of look.
"Tch. I-I knew that. W-Why would I like such a f-fucking extra?! I'm not gay. I'm not gay!" Katsuki said that last line directly to the Bakusquad. Smirks spread amongst their faces, Kirishima even faxcepalmed. He had forgotten that his hand was still rock solid, and ended up bruising his forehead.
"Yow!" He screeched, rubbing his head.
"You're such a dumbass." Kaminari commented,
"You're one to talk. I'm like, HALF the dumbass you are, Kami!" Kirishima argued, staring down his yellow friend.
"That's still a pretty big dumbass, Kirishima." Sero pointed out with a smug toothy grin,
"Just shut up! You're all dumbasses!" Katsuki shouted, making everyone quiet. Katsuki was good at that.
"Lets just get to class, I don't feel like getting yelled at by Aizawa today." Katsuki turned on his heel and walked away. Everyone else followed him to class, Kirishima and Kaminari where still staring each other down, while Mina and Sero kept chatting about random things. Midoriya caught up to Katsuki and walked beside him in silence.
"Hey, Kacchan?" Midoriya meekly asked as he turned towards him.
"What, Deku?" Katsuki said calmly, trying not to seem so scary. Wow, who was this man and what has he done with Katsuki Bakugou?!
"Remember that time back in the first year training camp when you got captured?" Midoriya asked, awaiting his response.
"No, Deku. I don't remember getting caught by villains while you, Icy-Hot, arms guy and bird seed just stood there watching me. Not that I needed you extra's help. I got out just fine. Why would I remember that?" He replied sarcastically. Of course he remembered!
"I just wanted to apologise for letting you get away. Not that it matters now, though. It just kinda popped into my head. So, um, sorry." Midoriya knew this wasn't necessary, but he might as well.
"Gosh, Deku. It's no big fucking deal. I wasn't gone for that long, plus, you're too much of a weakling to fight real villains. You never would've won. I, on the other hand, DID get out and DID defeat the real villains. Unlike you. Grabbing the wrong fucking marbles. Such a Deku move." Katsuki ranted as Midoriya toned out. He knew Katsuki was full of himself, so he was prepared. Midoriya just then saw a familiar head of hair. A familiar white and red head of hair.

"Todoroki! Over here!"
