Lisa. Lisa used to be known as the 'life of the party' always full of happiness and joy. But, after her last job at ELLE where she was notoriously bullied by her colleagues for her ethnicity, Lisa's life hit rock bottom.
She quit her job despite thriving in terms of achieving all the goals her employers had set her. The day by day bullying shed at Lisa little by little until, it was all too much for her.
Now, Lisa is a scared, cautious, anxious and nervous wreck. No one seems to understand her, no one knows just how dark her dark days have been, not even her best friend Lauren.

Roseanne has been excelling in her job despite the paranoia and heartbreak she faces every time she awakes from her sleep. In spite of this, Rosie learned how to deal with the pain in her own way - acting like it doesn't bother her at all, as though everything is okay. When really, all she craves is to be loved how she loves everyone and everything around her.

Lauren. A badass, a softie and everything in between. Lauren has been there for Lisa ever since she moved from Thailand all alone and afraid but, at that time, also so full of light and optimism.
Lauren moved to Korea from Cuba when she was a little girl. She became Lisa's go to person regarding everything about being a foreigner in Korea to just life things.
Lauren had been there for Lisa when she wasn't able to pick herself up off of the bathroom floor after a hard day at work.
Lauren convinced Lisa to put herself out there again and get a job once more.
