Palutena froze and almost died in embarrassment. Don't make it weird. Don't make it weird. She gave a breathy giggle, "Well, you were filthy, (Y/N). And I didn't want you getting an infection or anything from the f-filth..."
(Y/N) felt a tad strange, realizing her whole body was dirty. "...oh," she responds.
"I promise I didn't do anything weird!" Palutena replies, astounded at her own words.
(Y/N) stares contently into nothingness. "don't worry, it's very n-nice of you, Palutena. I haven't gotten a nice bath in a very long time, it feels nice to be clean."
The awkwardness of the situation fills the room with an odd vibe.
"I can get you a change of clothes if you'd like," Palutena adds, holding her hands together.
(Y/N) nods her head. "Yes please,"
Palutena then walks down the hallway to try to find where she put her human friends' clothes. You have an all-seeing eye and you can't find her clothes! Palutena annoyingly tells herself. After 15 minutes she gives up and goes back up to her room to see the girl.
"So, I cannot find your clothes, sadly, I swore I washed them and put them near my hot spring, but," she thinks for a minute as the girl turns around from the big window after opening the curtains. She looks so nice in the sun...
The girl flicks her pretty locks of (y/c/h) hair and closes her eyes, she then lazily looks at Palutena.
"I suppose I could give you one of my dresses..." she says, looking off to the side, embarrassed by her incompetence.
"That would be very kind of you!" The girl happily walks towards Palutena and hugs her. "Thank you very much, Palutena, I feel blessed to be able to let you take care of me and my illness," she steps off her tippy-toes since Palutena is too tall. Palutena blushes and gives an off squeak. The girl looks concerned. "Oh, I'm sorry! D-Did I make you uncomfortable?"
Palutena thickly swallows, "O-Oh no! Not at all, it's just-you're very sweet and grateful," she rubs her neck, "it's weird having a human hug me and thank me at the same time...Sorry."
(Y/N) giggles, "Oh, it's okay that you're shy," she folds her fingers together. Palutena pretends to clear her throat.
"Anyways, let me get you a dress," Palutena proceeds to grab her staff and summon one of her spare dresses. The girl looks amazed at her ability.
When Palutena looks back and nicely gives her the tunic, (Y/N) looks amazed. Palutena lightly laughs, "Do you like my staff?"
"It's very nice," she says. She delicately takes the dress and thinks. "Could you please look away as I change?"
"Of course, human." She then turns around, realizing she probably should've just left. Since she can see all.
After the girl is done getting dressed Palutena turns around and giggles at the girls' bewilderment at the foreign clothing on her body. She lifts the fabric and looks at the hem of her dress. "Whoa," she innocently says.
"Do you like it?" Palutena kindly asks. She realizes the top part of the dress is a bit big for the girl, and she realizes it'll fall and expose- Palutena quickly grabs the top of the girls' dress and tugs it up. As the girl makes a confused little noise, she spins her around and summons a clip to place on the back of the dress. "There, now it fits perfectly." The girl turns back around and fumbles with a piece of hair. Palutena begins to ponder, God, why is she so endearing?
Palutena and (Y/N) walk around the palace, the human still curiously staring around the castle. Palutena thought she pulled off Palutena's dress better than herself. Humans can be so surprising at times... Palutena walks down to the kitchen with the girl, knowing that she should give her medicine to take to make sure she fully recovers. The girl was very excited and flustered to take the medicine, obviously not accustomed to the special treatment. Palutena has a nice small talk with the human before she turns around to see nobody other than Pit, standing behind her looking completely healed. He adjusts his tunic and smiles at Palutena, unaware of the human behind her at first.
"Good morning, Lady Palutena! Good morning to you too-" Pit then realizes the human behind her, (Y/N) waves politely.
"Good morning to you too, Pit. Don't be impolite," Palutena lightly criticizes.
"Sorry, Lady Palutena! Hello, I'm Pit, the servant of the Goddess of Light! Nice to meet you..."
"(Y/N)," Palutena corrects.
"Nice to meet you, (Y/N). Uh...Why did you steal Palutena's clothes?"
"My clothes got lost, but Palutena was nice enough to give me her spare dress," (Y/N) says innocently.
"Well, Pit, it seems you've recovered from the Angel Flu! Are you ready to fight again?" Palutena says cheerfully.
"Of course!" Pit cheerfully says.
"Anywho, I better get our fellow human friend back to her village," Palutena replies. "goodbye Pit, I'll see you in a few." Palutena begins the walkout the palaces' entrance with (Y/N) and Pit cheerfully says goodbye to the girl and Palutena.
Palutena teleports the girl back to the end of the forest, leading back into the village.
"Thanks again, Palutena. I appreciate your kindness and all that you've done for my people," (Y/N) says. Palutena then couldn't help herself and hugs the girl in a passionate tone. She startles (Y/N), then she hugs Palutena back. Palutena squeezes her eyes closed and then she lets go. She felt an odd feeling of dread to leave the girl behind, back at her village. She wanted to keep (Y/N) all to herself and take care of her...and her cute eyes still gleamed as she stared into Palutena's pretty green eyes.
"Anytime, human," She replies timidly, "I hope you have a great life!" Palutena replies cheerfully.
The girl smiles up at her, then she walks back to her village, but before she says goodbye forever, as she walks away she gives Palutena a quick smile of appreciation. Palutena waves goodbye, then she parts her ways as well.
Palutena reenters her nice home and smiles to herself as she realizes she made her first human friend, (Y/N). But before she can get settled again, she sees Pit hurridly running towards her, looking ghastly.
"Pit? What's wrong?" she grabs Pit by the shoulders before he stares into her green eyes. His blue eyes looking more worried than the time Hades had devoured him.
"D-Did you hear what Viridi did?" Pit replies.
"What'd she do, Pit?"
"She dropped another reset bomb!" Pit says, "Right on the small village, not far from the castle."
Palutena's heart dropped, and she realizes what Viridi has done.
