First fic so sorry if it sucks. Gay romance... Cronus Ampora and Kankri Vantas from the wencomic HOMESTUCK. All characters belong to Lord Hussie as well as all of HS and MSPA. I have never used wattpad, only Archiveofourown, Fanfiction.net and I dabbled in quizzila or quotev or whatever it is called now, so I am very unfamiliar with how this all works... Apologies for and inconsistency, errors, out of character behavior, ect. Should I apologize this much? Fucking fuck it. Whatever. I am half awake and most definitely rambling so yeah.... Just read the fanfiction and don't pay attention to me, you might miss something.

It was a warm summer day and Cronus and Kankri were at the zoo. It was decent, nothing for Kankri to get his panties into a twist (except for the game of grab-ass Cronus occasionally attempted), no whinny brats to fight about a LARP session, no parents hovering over their shoulders telling them what needed to be done and how either wants to live their lives... just serenity.
"Hey, kitten, you wanna go into the water exhibition? They might have crabs," Cronus spoke in a slight sing-songy voice and slight Brooklyn accent. Kankri rolled his eyes and smilled slightly.
"First of all... stop calling me kitten - it could offend someone as one may presume that you mean it in sexual terms, not that I'm saying you are (but I am not denying it either and if so it should only be used in private occasions unless you mean to trigger someone). Not only that but-" Kankri was cut off by a quick kiss to the check by Cronus.
"Quiet or I'll kiss you harder," Cronus spoke under his breath.
Upon hearing this Kankri huffed slightly, folded his arms, and gnawed at his bottom lip as he picked up his pace a bit. Cronus couldn't help but smirk at the way Kanny's butt looked when he was stomping off and how Kanny was most definitely heading into the aquatic animal's section.

Everything was going smoothly, no one was at the exhibit so Cronus was free to give and receive cuddles from his "kranky kankrine." No one was in the exhibit except for the two and only now did Kankri allow some cuddles to be given and/ or received. Cronus did get mild scoldings and not-very-subliminal reminders of Kankri's vow to a path of celibacy if he became too handsy with Kankri's sweater, play yet another game of grab-ass, or nibble too hard on Kankri's ear. Cronus didn't mind much though. He was not oversteping his boundaries too much and was not making any malicious attempts on anything. Cronus was enamored by Kankri and would never truly risk loosing him now. He loved the pout Kankri wore, the way he would smile ever so slightly at things that went against his moral code, his naivety with an air of something wise and knowingly, the was he shook when he as was surprised or scared of something small, and everyother little quirk of Kankri. Speaking of which, Kankri seemed suddenly very on edge. Starring straight at the... otter exhibit?
Cronus made a slight and strange noise as a result of his total and utter confusion. Kankri turned quite the shade of red, pulled the turtleneck of his sweater over his mouth, and stood completely rigid. In a few strides, Cronus was over to him and holding him gently.
"Are you okay? Something happened when I wasn't paying attention?" Cronus asked, using a tone reserved for "serious" matters. Kankri's face turned more red than Cronus had ever seen Kankri's face turn and Kankri only nuzzled further into Cronus's chest.
"Don't make fun of me..." Kankri mumbled slightly. Cronus nodded and Kankri continued. "When I was little I had a weird dream about otters, I just... I was nine and I dreamed I was a crab and an otter was eating me. Then next morning my little brother had the same dream and ever since the whole idea of otters just kind of freaks me and Karkat out.... It was just weird, okay? Obtuse, nonsensical, puerile..." his voice wandered off.
Kankri felt Cronus shaking against his own and recognized it was stifled laughter. Suddenly, very annoyed and aggravated, Kankri pulled away and glared at Cronus.
"Come on, it's cute." Kankri just stomped and begrudgingly came back to Cronus's embrace.
"Asshole," Kankri grumbled as he pecked Cronus's cheek softly.
