Chapter 2: Hangin' Out

𝑳𝒖𝒄𝒚 𝑷.𝑶.𝑽

Man... My wings hurts... Hey, I see people! Cool, I flew above Hell and now I'm on Earth. Can they see me? I hope not... Heaven is only a mile away now... I should fly faster... But... My wing... I'm falling!

"AhhHHHHHH!" Oh no... Did Mavis kick me out? No, She wouldn't know, right?! I see Levy!

"LUUUUUUUUUUUUU!" She flies over to me and hugs me to her. "You ok?! I was worried sick! Did you go to Earth?! You'll be in trouble! And, your wing! It's broken! And-"

"Levy, if anyone asks, I was flying around and hit into a cherry tree, ok?" I look at her, hoping for forgiveness.

"Ok... Let's go to Erza, she can fix this" She starts flying me to Erza. Erza has GOT to be the most beautiful angel ever...

*1 hour later*

"Lucy! You need to stop hurting yourself!" Erza screams at me as she puts a bandage on me.

"I know... sorry... thank you Erza..." I really do keep hurting myself, I gotta stop.

"Hmph, now, go rest, got it?"  She looks at me with fire in her eyes. Geez, she's scary.

"Yeah.. Ok... Goodnight..." I fly to my home and go to bed. So... fluffy... Zzzzzzzzz...

*9 hours later, Tuesday morning*

Yawwwn. Wow, my wing feels so much better! Maybe I can visit Natsu! I'll bring him a treat, maybe some mochi? Yeah, I make the best mochi!

As Lucy makes the delicious mochi, Levy enters Lucy's home. 

"Hey Lu! Watcha making?" Levy looks at the pretty angel and smiles. 

"Ah! Oh.. Lev, you scared me! I'm uh... n-not making anything..." 

Levy smirks at the angel "Trying to impress Loke? Eh?" 

Lucy blushes "What! N-no... This isn't for him! He's a pervert! This is... for me! I'm going to the park..."

"Can I go too?" Levy asks with joy.

"No! It's... Alone time.. Yeah.. Sorry, gotta go!" The beautiful angel flies away.

D*mnit Levy! Stop asking so many questions! It's private! Whatever, I hope Makarov isn't awake, I need to use the bridge.

*30 minutes later*

He's awake... Crap... And there's humans! Maybe I can convince one to hide me...

"Psst, hey, human... Can you do me a favor?" This human looks confused, but she's pretty.

She looks up at me "Uhh... Yeah? Are you God?"

"No, just an angel. Can you hide me and bring me to the end of the bridge? I will surely repay you!" I won't, but I gotta convince her.

"No repay needed, yeah, I can sneak you out. Follow me" She leads me to the end of the bridge.

"Hey, thanks!" I fly to the end of the bridge and jump off. I can't wait to see Natsu! He's so nice... No, Lucy... What are you doing? He's a DEMON! But... he saved me... Ugh. Well, SOMEONE'S gotta eat this mochi, right? There's the ground, hope I can go through it again.

Feet, where ya taking me? This is where Lucy fell, why am I going here? I must have a reason... Hey! There she is! She's flying through the barrier! She's so cool... Natsu, snap out of it! She's an angel, why would she like you?

"Hey! Natsu!" She flies gracefully to the ground. "I brought you something!" She hands me a little lunch box.

"What are these? They're... Cold?" What are they? I stuff one in my mouth. It's.. So good! So sweet!

"It's called mochi! I made it myself, do you like it?" She looks at me with big beautiful eyes.

"I love it! Thanks Lucy!" I sit down and start eating another.

"I brought a picnic basket if you want to eat lunch together..." She blushes a bit. Blushes? Does she like me?

"Oh! Yeah! I'll eat with you Lucy! Where do you wanna sit?" I could eat anywhere she wanted... I wouldn't mind...

"Lets go to Earth! The humans can't see us, so it'll be fun! C'mon!" She grabs my hand and starts flying up. I grab the lunch box.

"I dunno Lucy.. What am I thinking, Yeah, I'd love to go to Earth! But... The barrie-" She flies through the barrier and... I fly through it too!

"Yes! It worked!" She flies us over to a willow tree. "Is here ok?"

"I-It's... beautiful Lucy... I've never seen Earth before! Thank you!"

She flashes me a big smile and starts to set up.

"Hey Lucy?" I look at her with worry.

"Yeah? Is something wrong?" She looks back with her big beautiful eyes.

"Well, you don't have to repay me... I'm a demon and all, you shouldn't be hanging out with me.."

She laughs "I wouldn't if I didn't want to, I want to get to know you! Now, shut up and lets eat!"

*2 hours later*

After hours of eating and talking, Lucy start walking to a park. "Lets go here! It'll be fun!"

She grabs my hand and starts flying. I fly too.

"Where we goin'?"

"A carnival! You ever been?" She looks back at me and smirks.

"No, I'd love to go though!" She stops flying and stands at the entrance.

*6 hours later*

As she drops me off at Hell, she looks at me. "Wanna hangout again tomorrow?"

"Yeah! I do!" I sound like an idiot! Dumb Natsu...

She laughs "See you later Natsu!" She flies up and then she's gone.

"Bye Lucy..." D*mn... I don't know what it is but, I think she made me sick. I'm still too red... (INNOCENT ALERT) Maybe I should get some rest... Zzzzzzzzzz.

𝑵𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏

As they hang out more and more, their bond becomes stronger. They've been hanging out for about two years and nobody has noticed! They are an unstoppable team! Two peas in a pod! Best friends forever! Maybe more then best friends, if you know what I mean ;). Well, they used to be, at least. Until the day Mavis found out...
