My legs started wobbling as I neared the finish line. I could see the end. It was taunting me. I noticed everyone was catching up to me and suddenly I got a rush of adrenaline and sprinted to the end.

"GO MIKI! YOU GO GIRL!" I heard the crowd scream as I finished. My heart felt it was going to explode, but I kept a smile on my face. My teammates started finishing one by one. Second, to last was Miko. I walked up to her and handed her some water.

"O-oh thanks Miki.." she stopped to take a sip. " You did fantastic today," she continued, and she closed the bottle and started walking towards the bleachers.

"Thanks, but you don't need to flatter me.." I blushed and started following her. She sat down and sighed and took another sip of the water.

"Is something wrong?" I turned to her, and her expression changed from a smile to a frown. She packed her things up and walked to the locker room.

"Miko! I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you!" I yelled out but she ignored me.. it's best to let her be for now. I sat back down and started to gather my stuff and headed to the locker room.

"Miki! Wait up!" I heard it and when I turned around it was Akira, he was waving at me so I turned around and walked towards him.

"Hey after your done changing meet me by the vending machines, oh also good job today" he smiled. I nodded and waved bye as he ran off. I resumed what I was doing and headed to the locker room Miko should be done already so I won't bother her. I walked into the silent locker room and started changing.

As I finished changing I heard a loud sound go off, it sounded like a phone but I wasn't quite sure. I walked over to where the noise came from but I couldn't find anything, but then it went off again and a light flashed from one of the lockers. I walked over towards the lockers and to my surprise, it was Miko's locker, she must have forgotten her phone I should probably take to her but her lockers were probably locked. I pushed on the locker and to my surprise, it was unlocked. I took the phone and grabbed my stuff and headed towards the vending machines.
