Getting Permission (His POV)

Cameron
(Y/N) and I have been together for almost 3 years, and spending the rest of my life with her was something I couldn't wait to do. Her dad and I have gotten closer over the past couple of years and I just knew he would give me permission. If I had the guts to ask.
"Hey, (Y/D/N)" I spoke to myself. I was standing outside (Y/N) parents home, trying to come up with what I was going to say. "I absolutely love your daughter and would do anything and everything to keep her happy. I would never hurt her, break her ever. And it would such an honor if-"
"Yes." I turned around and saw (Y/N) dad standing behind me, taking off gardening gloves.
"I-I-I didn't know you were behind me." I said, mentally face palmed myself. "You'll let me propose to her?" I asked running the back of my neck with my hands.
"Of course, Cameron. I know you'll do everything to keep her happy. I mean, she always calls me telling me about all the nice things you've done for her, keeping a smile on her face. And if you marrying means that smile will always be there, then yes. You may marry her." I couldn't wipe the happy grin off my face. Jumping, I wrapped my arms around (Y/D/N) and hugged him tight. "Thank you, so much!"

Nash
"Hey (Y/D/N), is your wife around also?" I asked. He nodded and called her name.
"Hello Nash, how are you dear?" (Y/M/N) asked.
"Really good actually. But I have to be quick. The past couple of years I've spent with your daughter have been the best years of my life and it would be an honor if you gave me-" I spoke quickly, but (Y/M/N) knew what I was going to ask and began to tear up, I chuckled. "Permission to marry (Y/N)?" I finished. (Y/M/N) continued to cry as her father, unreadable.
"Promise me Nash" he said.
"Anything"
"You treat her like she deserves and-"
"I would never lay a hand on her. She means to much." I said sternly.
"Then, you have my permission.

Matt
I was so nervous to ask (Y/D/N) for permission to marry his daughter. She was his little girl and like all dads, probably hard to let go. I wouldn't blame him. She was keeper. Walking up to their door I knocked. (Y/D/N) opened the door with a surprised look on his face.
"Matt, surprise to see you. What is it buddy?" He asked.
"Uh, do you mind stepping outside for a minute." I said backing up a bit. He nodded and stepped forward.
"It's been 2 and half years, but those 2 and a half years I could never regret. And that's why I would love for your permission to marry your daughter. I-I-I can't imagine my life without her." I stuttered hoping I did good. (Y/D/N) patted my shoulder.
"Yes, you can-" I cut him off and hugged him tight.
"This absolutely means everything. Thank you" I said letting go. He smiled at me.

Taylor
I've been with (Y/N) for 4 years and I knew it was time to ask for her hand in marriage. These past couple of weeks have been really hard on her though. With her father passing, I knew I needed to ask her brother. But there was one problem standing in my way, he absolutely hated me. Grabbing my phone I dialed his number. After almost five rings he answered.
"What is it Taylor?" He growled on the other line.
"Look (Y/B/N), I know you fucking hate me but," I took a deep breath, "I love your sister with all my heart and I know it's been hard without your dad, especially for her but, it would be an honor if you gave me your blessing. Please (Y/B/N)" I finished, I could hear him breathe heavily on the other line. "Did I fuck this up?"
"No Taylor, I know you love her and I'm sorry for being so hard on you. She loves you back and would say yes if asked so," I paused, "you have my blessing." he said.
"Thank you so much (Y/B/N)!"

Hayes
"Hayes!" (Y/N) called.
"Yea?"
"I'm leaving, see you at 3!" She called back. Perfect timing too. I needed to call her dad. Running to my computer I quickly opened it and opened FaceTime.
"Hello Hayes, what's up?" (Y/D/N) said.
"It's been a long time since we've seen each other and I know it would be better if I did this in person but, I wanted to know if I could have your permission to marry (Y/N)." I sighed.
"Hayes, I know you love my daughter, and that you will take care of her."
"Always sir."
"Then Hayes, you have my permission."
"Thank you (Y/D/N), I can't wait to ask her." I said, smiling wide.
"I know she will say yes."
