Roy POV

It was 10:30 and Manny and I had just gotten out of class.

"Roy, we have break, let's go to the courtyard!"

I look at Manny and respond, "Alright. Maybe we can find the others there."

...

I started looking around the courtyard when my eyes landed on the tree in the corner of the courtyard. I smile as memories start happening

"w-why m-me?" I sobbed quietly while under the big tree.

"Hey!" A voice from afar yells. The owner of the voice comes up to me and crouches down to my level, "what's wrong?" "D-do I ev-en know you?" "Nope! But I'm Manny." He said with a small smile on his face. I look up at him with a bit of a blush, "Roy..." "Well nice to meet you Roy!" He said with cheerfulness, "We can be friends." Still blushing at how cute he was I say, "okay."

...

"Roy, Manny!" Some voice yells from the benches. "Hey Miranda." I said with a small smile. "Let's go eat lunch in the cafeteria," she said smiling. "Alright," I said while looking up. She exited her hand for me to pick up, and I gladly accepted.

...

After school

I was currently walking home from school to my house with Manny since we live on the same block.

Manny looks up at me, "Roy?"

"Yeah?" I said still looking forward

He started fiddling with his fingers before saying, "Can I stay at your house for the night?" "Yeah of course, but what's wrong?" I ask in a concerned voice but also just silently happy he was staying at my house. Gotta admit, I've always had a crush on him.

"Mom and dad..." He said while looking down, now fiddling with his sleeves. "Oh. Of course you can stay. My house is always open," I said in a sweet and small voice trying to cheer him up a bit.

We arrive at my house through the window of course since I still didn't wanna be seen by my mother.
