Y/n's POV

You walked in the office of your dad and you saw him talking with a group of people. You started to feel anxious but your mom told you that it's okay and you don't have to worry about a thing.

"I just want you to write down what I'm saying and just announce it to the media." Your dad commanded them and they all nodded.

"So is it true that they're dating?" A lady asked and your dad nodded.

"They're getting married next next week and I hope that all of the people will respect our sudden decision. The two of them are childhood friends and there's no surprise that they're getting married because back then they've been really close. The wedding will be open to the public except the reception that will happen in a private cruise." The press started writing down what your dad said.

"Can we ask you is there something going on with the Min's company? We all know that they have build a powerful empire in the business industry but over the past few years we noticed that a lot of their buildings had shut down and a lot of workers have been removed from the business. Do you think that they are doing this wedding because they needed your help in fixing their business?" The attention was focused on you.

"I-It's not my story to tell. Plus, he's been nice to me since the day I've met him (lol not really but you've seen him change) and I know that this marriage thing will work between the both of us." You said and they started whispering to each other like bee's in a hive. The clock hits 10:00 am and the meeting ended. You sighed in relief and leaned in your chair.

"Honey we'll go back to the house because you still need to get fitted for your wedding dress." you nodded and went out the room. You hugged your dad because he'll be busy the entire day just like you. You saw your assistant and body guards following your back.

"Ma'am the designer just arrived in your house and Mrs. Min is already waiting for you in your mansion." The PA(personal assistant) said. You turned your head to her direction when all of you entered the elevator.

"Just call me Y/n, Mrs. Hwang" you told your PA. You know her because you've done your research about who's gonna be with you almost every time. The two body guards are brothers named GunHo and GonHoo.

"You know me?" She asked and you nodded. Your mom is on the phone talking to someone. When you reached the last floor you went out and saw your car. The driver  arrived and all of you went in the car.

You arrived at your house and you saw a scary looking lady. She's over the top in her fashion. Hope that everyone has a sense of fashion like her. She smiled at you and started measuring your waist, shoulders, arms, and etc.

"A week is such a hustle darling but lucky for you that I can make a masterpiece under the pressure of time." She said and your mom and Mrs. Min thanked her. You also bowed when she finished measuring you. You excused yourself and made your way to the kitchen to prepare your lunch with YoonGi. You started coating the chicken and started frying it. You double fried it so it can remain crispy then you made the honey butter chicken sauce. It turned out kinda nice and kinda delicious. You placed the chicken in the container with the bibimbap and placed it on your bag.

"Mom I have to go! Me and YoonGi are eating lunch together." You shouted.

"Okay honey! Call me if the meeting is over!" She shouted back and you ran towards the door. Again you were greeted by the two guards and your PA.

"To the Min's building please Mrs. Hwang" she nodded and called the car. The trip was actually really quick. You went inside and you were greeted by the employees and staff. You knocked at YoonGi's office but there's no answer. You can just hear him shouting behind the door. You leaned your ear to the door.

"WHAT EVEN IS THIS?! I WANT YOU TO TRACK DOWN WHO'S MAKING AND SPREADING THIS FAKE NEWS OR SO HELP ME I'LL–" The door suddenly opened and your head fell on someone's chest. You looked up and saw YoonGi.

"Uhm... Hey?" You said and he was in shock.

"Y/n? What are you doing here? Isn't the meeting after lunch?" He asked and you frowned because he forgot.

"You forgot, didn't you?" You crossed your arms and he made a confused look.

"What are you talking abou-... Oh.. The lunch.. He scratched his head and you turned your heels to walk away. "Y/n!! Hey! I'm sorry! I was busy the whole day and I forgot! I'm just handling some problems. Did you see the news lately?" He asked. You stopped and walked backwards and looked at him.

"Apology accepted. What are you talking about the news? Why? What happened?" after your last word he dragged you into his office and locked the door. He turned on the TV and you saw a lot of comments about what you've said earlier. The header of the news is 'Tension between Y/n and MaeRin due to Park Y/n's unforgivable attitude towards the daughter of leading make up company'. You just gasped when you saw MaeRin with bruises in her arm and scratches.

"Y/n I'm sorry I dragged you into this kind of mess. I need to tell you something.. MaeRin's my ex way back when we were highschool because I don't have a freaking choice but I ended our relationship in just two weeks because she's too clingy." You just forced a smile and held back your tears.

"I-i'm glad you told me YoonGi. But why didn't you accept their marriage proposal?" You asked and he just looked at you.

"Y/n you know that my heart belongs to you, right? I want to marry someone that I love and will love until I die and I know that MaeRin is not that girl." He said and he back hugged you and cuddled you. Your phone suddenly rang and your mom was calling.

Y/n? Are you alright?

Yeah..

What's in the news?

I don't know but I swear I didn't do it

You ended the call and looked at YoonGi. You ruffled his hair and grabbed your bag to bring out your lunch. You handed him his lunch and he started to eat. You lost your appetite because of all this drama. Is this what MaeRin's talking about?

"Y/n why aren't you eating?" YoonGi asked and you ignored him. You just looked at the window and saw raindrops.

"Y/n.. Hey.. You okay?" He snuggled his head on your ear and you just nodded.

"YoonGi.. I just need to rest. By the way my dad told me that he wants to talk to you." You said.

"I can't wait to make you mine" YoonGi then hugs you. You felt relieved from all of the stress right now. He kissed your cheek and you felt your face heating up.

"Y-yoonGi what if this marriage doesn't work out?" you asked and he looked at you.

"Babe it will, don't worry about things okay?" he said and kissed your forehead. You looked at the clock and the meeting with YoonGi will start soon.

"What's the meeting all about?" You asked and he told you it's still about the wedding. The wedding planner will be here in just a few seconds.
