The Announcement [A Short]

"JON, RICHIE! COULD YOU COME DOWN HERE PLEASE!" Joe [Laura's Manager] called them from the bottom of the stairs. 

"Yeah?" Richie came down with Bon Jovi and Keeble.

"Not you Keeble. J-O-N Jon." 

"Oh, okay." The other went back upstairs.

"I have to talk to you both about something, it seems that you both are in trouble for what happened at the Halloween party." 

"For what?" Richie scrunched up his nose as he took a seat.

"There was a girl at the party and you guys were tossing her around like she was some sort of object?" Joe scrunched his eyebrows in.

"No, that's not what happened. Richie faked that he was married when she showed interest in him. Then brought her to me after telling her how excited I would be for meeting a girl like her. It was a dirty thing to do." Jon explained.

"Well, what was wrong with that?" 

"She just wasn't a pretty girl?" Bon Jovi shrugged. "But I am going out with her on Monday."

"Some of the viewers thought that it was "Sexist" he held up his fingers in quotation marks. "And I think that you should apologize to make them feel better. So I have the crew to um...film it." 

"Why do we have to apologise?! She just wasn't what we wanted." Sambora ubjected.

"I Know...but still, just do it." 

"Ugh! Fine!" He whined.

"Alright we'll be ready in 5." Joe stood up.

"What do we say?" Jon question.

"Just explain what happened and apologize for it all. Ready in 5...4...3...2...1...and…ACTION!" He shouted.

"I'm Jon bon Jovi."

"I'm Richie Sambora." He followed him.

"And we are so sorry for what happened during the Halloween party. It will not happen again." Jon nodded.

"It was wrong to treat that young lady as we did. She was a wonderful person. Sometimes it doesn't matter what's on the outside but the inside." Richie said and Jon secretly hit the side of his friends thigh with the back of his hand.

"Alright that's great, boys. Now, I'll call everyone downstairs and here, read this to everyone." Joe handed Jon a piece of paper and Richie peeked over his shoulder to read it. "EVERYONE DOWNSTAIRS!" Joe called. "WE HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT!" He went up the stairs.

10 Minutes later 
"What? What is it?" Perry came down the stairs in an irritated Manner.

"Hit it." He pointed to Jon. 

"Um...let's see, I am sad but relieved to announce a small break in the recording of our show. Please note that a small warning will be shared with everyone the week before the continuation of current episode as well as some changes made to the house. Enjoy your slight break and feel free to work on anything you feel fallen behind on." The reader looked back up at the excited group. 

"You get a break, kids!" Joe opened the door with the rest of the packed crew. "Enjoy it!" He excited.

"AHH!" Steven rasped out excitedly. "FINALLY!" He collapsed onto the rug below him.

"Wow, we just started." Limahl shrugged.

"Let's just enjoy our small freedom." Laura smiled.

"Yeah it's a chance to work on our album, let go, man." Daryl stood up and directed his friends into the basement.

"Well, okay. I guess we could go to a club or something." Tony offered.

"How come you guys got to read the message? You special or something?" Tico squinted at his friends.

"I don't know, we were just here already." Rich guessed.

"Well, come on you two. Let's enjoy this break." The other motioned into the kitchen.

But seriously y'all I'm taking a break. I need to think about things and I need to focus on school. I'm not sure how long I'll be gone. I'll try to be quick but right now I'm thinking after Christmas. Thanks.
